Best in class for the money
I bought this for my son as a birthday present to use on our local pond. I am writing this review after almost a year of use. The boat was easy to assemble and is very durable… has held up through a ton of use over the past months. It’s got some weight to it, but light enough that one person can carry it. The pockets are great for storage, and my son loves to use it for fishing. Have tested it up to 300 pounds and works perfectly. Very balanced in the water. After researching, this was best choice of this style pontoon boat for the price point. Would definitely purchase again.

I love this boat but it needs some improvement to make it more user friendly
I want to start by saying that this is the first inflatable boat I have ever bought or even used. I do not typically write long reviews but I felt it neccessary with this product as I really like it but it does not come useable out of the box. You will have to purchase some things, like an air pump and pressure gauge, and/or make "junk drawer" modifications in order to make what comes in the box work with a cheap air pump.I very much like the boat, it fits what I was looking for. It is lightweight, I can easily break it down to 3 major parts plus the oars and lift them into my SUV by myself. The stability is also very nice, I had some concern about how it would feel if I caught into a good sized bass or pike but so far it has done well.I have made some modifications to make this more comfortable and easier for me to use. First , I bought a swimming noodle and cut it down, adding it to each of the foot rests to give my feet a bit more comfort. I also bought a seat cushion because the seat can be a strain after a few hours. My biggest complaint about this product is that the extension provided to use with a pump is not effective. This product uses a wonderful style of valve that, in the right setting, will allow you to pump it up and not allow air to escape. However the parts sent with it do not activate the valve properly leaving the user to struggle greatly and never get a decent air pressure, I never was able to get it to stay above 1 psi. I imagine some people already have the proper attachments for thier air pumps to fit this valve properly. I am not one of those people. I ended up making some modifications with random items found in my junk drawer (a few rubber bands, glue, duct tape, and a wooden dowel). As you can tell by my supply list I am far from being very handy, lol. But I was able to make my modifications work and I am now able to fill the air bladders enough to not be sitting almost in the water.I saw other people had made complaints about not being able to put the proper amount of air in each bladder. It was very frustrating my first time out as I hadn't realized how flat it was until out on the water as it also does not come with a pressure gauge to be able to check for proper psi. (A pressure gauge would be of no help added in the box because the adapter does not do its job).I do plan to buy a decent pump with a gauge on it in the future but the pumps that i found that had the proper attachments and that have tight seals run around $100+. So the junk in my junk drawer work great, maybe not pretty, but effectively do the job and let me get out on the water and enjoy social distancing with the fish until I can afford an expensive pump. :)

Great value, great fishing craft
I have experience with several small water crafts and nothing compares to these types of pontoons. I purchased this model as a complement to my beloved Classic Accessories(CA) Bozeman (discontinued....ugh!) pontoon boat, which I still use for hike-in fishing trips. I would have purchased another Bozeman if available. The Roanoke is the closest to my Bozeman. It's also relatively lightweight and easy to setup. With a couple of modifications...upgraded oar locks and seat swivel..this boat is a go-to vessel for getting into hard to access fishing spots. I have a sit-on top kayak but nothing compares to how stable this pontoon is. I have taking it down rivers with decent sections of rapids and just float seamlessly over them without worrying about dumping. The wide design allows you to float through practically anything pointed in any direction. I know the boat is not recommended for the rougher water I tend to navigate but I think that's short changing its capabilities. When fishing, you sit up high which is another advantage over the kayak. Windy days will push you around a lake but a small anchor solves that. When paddling, it's faster than it looks. Push or pull the oars, whichever works for you. Although CA has other and larger models for which I haven't tried, I highly recommend this craft and hope this review helps.

Big, bulky, and barely white water rated.
I get beat by my inflatable kayak friends every time setting this thing up and theirs takes up less room in the car. It has so many connectors that should have been made able to fold and stay connected for easier storage and make it easier to put together. Most other inflatables this price range come with pumps included, this one does not. Waiting for an adapter to inflate it with a bike pump to make it easier. I love the way it looks and having a sturdy chair to sit in was the main reason for the purchase other then in inflatable. Kindof second guessing that.

great pontoon.
assembly instructions could have been more detailed. Great pontoon. easy to move around on water. pontoon only weighs 43lbs when assembled and inflated. When I purchased it was a great price at under $300 . The oar lock stops would slide up and oar could slip out of oar locks. Twenty wraps of electrical tape with wraps on top of previous wrap will prevent the oar from slipping out of oar lock and has held up for over a year's worth of moderate use.

This boat is AWESOME rows very easy and pretty fast very stabile I put a rod holder and a electric trolling motor on mine very easy to do but I don't mind rowing it I use a small lawn mower battery to cut down on weight it works great if it does die I can always row it .I also use a 8 pound mushroom anchor works very well plenty of storage in the side pockets I love dangling my feet in the water on a hot day I slide it in my minivan kinda a tight fit but once you get use to it its no problem I deflate the pontoons if it stays in the van it helps with sliding it in and also from the heat with windows closed I don't want to pop a pontoon I keep it in my van all the time so I can go fishing on a whim. This boat is great and well made I LOVE it...
