Excellent Cable at a Very Good Price
This is a very good quality cable. It securely attaches to the monitor via a push button latch release and works perfectly with my Asus laptop to display perfect 4K video. I have noticed none of the issues some other reviews have noticed. I am using it primarily for local and remote desktop work, as well as HD videos. I have also played Minecraft. I have not tried to play any high frame rate games. But, my laptop is not the best choice for those, anyway. Should I see some issues in that case, I'd have to first suspect insufficiencies my hardware. Everything performs as well as on my desktop machine. I can see no reason to pay more.I'd recommend this cable as an excellent value.

It's a mini DisplayPort to/from DisplayPort cable!
The pictures on the Amazon site are of exactly what you'll receive in a plastic bag that you could hang in a physical store. The cable works as advertised. I connected it to my mDP port on my laptop docking station then connected it to my 4K monitor. Everything works! The cable construction is very good. It feels like a well put together cable.

Works great with my old MacBook air
Finally found a cord that connects my old MacBook Air to my monitor.

It works great when it does....
When it starts to malfunction about a year later the screen would flicker when trying to fullscreen a game or something that would use your graphics card, not the basic internal graphic that your computer comes with. I would have to unplug the power supply and reconnect it each time this happens to solve it for a day or so it would come back. You get what you paid for.

El soporte técnico: lo Mejor!
Adquirí este cable y aunque no me funciono, debo decir que el soporte es excelente, el material se ve muy muy bueno, pero en mi caso por alguna razón no funciono ni en un MacBook Pro ni en un Imac, luego lo probé en un Lenovo y tampoco, se preguntaran: porque le doy un 5 si el articulo no sirvió?, respuesta: KabelDirect te da soporte casi que instantáneo (salvo la diferencia horaria), están atentos a brindarte solución y si en últimas no es posible, te devuelven el dinero y te piden regresar el artículo, este fue mi caso y por eso les doy un 5!.
