Very affordable solution for when you need a hose clamp, and a necessity when you need a BIG one.Larger hose clamps in stores get stupid expensive quickly - if you can even find them. This kit allows you to make your own at any size you want.The only sometimes tricky part is cutting and bending the strap so the screw clamp will grab it. You feed the cut strap through an opening that has a tooth that will catch a slot in the strap, and then you bend the strap to secure it.Occasionally the bend is at a bad spot and the tooth will jump out of the slot, and needs to be re-seated.The ability to make your own hose clamp is something any garage tinkerer or marching band parent who needs to make an emergency repair.

Purchasing this item in this format vs the prepared format is awesome and very economical. DYI: It is very easy to do yourself and you get more valule for your money. Wish I would have know of this option before purchasiing them already prepared for you. Very easy to do it yourself and get the exact desired length.

Such an easy thing to use. This is a must for any handyman.

I ordered the 20’ set but coil was short, only 18’ long. I needed 5 clamps to fit 15” diameter (48” circumference). I was only able to make 4. Band cut easily with a pair of tin snips, and assembly was not difficult following the included instructions. Only issue I had was not enough banding.

I bought this because my exhaust was falling apart and was trying to buy myself some time before getting it fixed and this is a great little kit to cut to size what you need it's so simple to use and very strong I needed better cutters just to cut off what I needed and it held everything together for over a year I'm very happy and I will buy more

When the product arrived I thought I only received the ‘worm’ screws because the box was so small. But the banding strap is, in fact, in the box. It’s in a tight little coil. Works great..
