I wanted to love this growler, but I just couldn't. I originally planned to get it as a gift. When I got it, it just looked a little cheap to me. Not the most consistent brushed finish and it had a few tiny dents. Not terrible, but not gift quality I was hoping for. I got the bare stainless, so perhaps I should have gotten the black one. Anyway, I did not gift it but kept it for myself since I have been wanting a growler for my homebrew. I'm not thrilled with it. I ended up buying a DrinkTanks growler. I did a lot of informal comparisons and the Yukon growler clearly did not insulate as well. Filling with hot or cold liquid, the sides warm or cool quite a bit within minutes. Not just in the neck area, but even at the bottom. This costs you a few degrees loss per hour compared to less than 1 degree change on the DrinkTank. Not thrilled with the bail lock either. It seals tightly but the bail travel is such that it stops right at the teetering point for lack of a better word. A bump with a couple of pounds of force could cause it to spring open. I don't see it as an everyday problem, but I think there is some concern because they include a velcro strap for extra bail security. The trouble is, the strap is elastic, so its not really going to do much, it will just stretch if that unfortunate bump hits the bail. A string or shoelace would work better. Anyway, the bail and the finish issues are just for your information. The 3 stars is based mainly on the performance of my particular sample.Edit: I just wanted to add that the seller quickly reached out to help me on this but I had already returned through Amazon.

So far so good! Filled it with ice and water and went to a buddy’s house to get some of his home brew. Left it in the car as we talked. Went out to get it - it was actually hot to the touch on the outside, bought it in and it still had ice in it. Filled it with beer, took it home and put it in the fridge. Didn’t open it for three days, but when I did, poured with a great collar of foam. Kept it well the rest of the weekend. Seems to be solidly built. I’m very happy!

I use it as a water bottle, I carry it daily and drink from it about once an hour. Holds about 1/2 gal. Still keeps a seal. Though I did have to purchase another rubber sealer since I seemed to have a tear in it from so much open/close. I also dropped it and I believe a piece of welding broke off in the vacuum part of the bottle so now it rattles. Other than that I love it.

very impressed with the seal on this growler we bought a limited time beer at a brewery while my wife was pregnant and don't open till 2 months later and the beer was still fresh and carbonated. Even out if the fridge the beer stayed cold and the larger handle was useful to pouring. I will be purchasing another as a gift.

This is a great growler. Simple and says the quantity of ounces, which is necessary for a lot of breweries these days. I think the handle is a game changer. Many other growlers dont have a handle. It's a big bottle and kinda awkward to carry if there isn't a handle.Go get yourself one!

I will start off with i believe the kid we received (clip top with rubber) has been replaced so don’t go by this review necessarily because I think they fixed the problem, we’re just frustrated we were twice victim of the defective kind. This product was perfect for about two months and then the lid completely came apart and we can’t use it at all. I would like to say customer service was awesome and sent us a replacement the first time it happened, but it happened with the replacement as well so they’re useless to us.

Purchased for my husband. He received compliments the 1st time he went to fill it up. Carbonation and taste was great the next day. Looks solid and will be used for the pool or camping, among other events.

I bought this to be able to bring my draft beer around the bonfire. It always keeps the beer cold and is unbreakable. What more could you want?
