Very, very good value for an excellent e-bike.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is by far the best bicycle I’ve ever owned! The initial quality out of the box is incredible, incredibly durable and heavy duty looking. It looks incredibly durable and was very easy to put together. If it was not an e-bike, it would still be the best bicycle I’ve ever owned. I think it would still be worth the money if it wasn’t an e-bike. Now you mix in the fact that it’s an e-bike and the value is incredible. The frame, the shocks, the brakes, everything seems overbuilt and very high end, and it’s not much heavier than my old GT mountain bike. I cannot be happier about buying this bike. And the customer service is as good as the reviews. I contacted the seller even before receiving the bike about different accessories I could get for it and they have responded every time I’ve contacted them. I just got the bike so I don’t know how long the electric motor part of the bike will work, but I hope it will be as long lasting as the rest of the bike looks like it will last, which looks like a very, very long time! I love the screen, and the controls are simple and very easy to see even in the middle of daylight. If you’re thinking about this bike, it is definitely worth the money. I think it was the best value on Amazon, I researched e-bikes on the Internet and on Amazon for weeks and this looked like the best value for the money. The only thing I dodn’t like about it was that the tail light does not come on with the headlight. I only wish there was a button to turn the headlight and the tail light on and off at the same time. Instead, you just have to press a little button on the tail light itself, which is OK, but I’m not thrilled about. Other than that, I cannot be happier. I already ordered a comfy seat, fenders in a small rack. It’s my first e-bike, so maybe I’m overly impressed but the motor seems very powerful, it easily cruises in pure electric mode at 20mph. 20 mph might not sound fast, but it sure feels fast on a bike. The pedal assist with five different levels is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I’m getting older and I have injured knees now I feel like I can go out and ride my bike again and not have to worry about my knees giving out or getting too tired to make it back home. I would absolutely recommend this bike!

Nice Bike, be Prepared
I ordered this bike in Feb. The stated delivery was 5 to7 days, but mine came in 2 days. I had major surgery so this was going to be my help to get back in shape. To begin, the whole package was very easy to unpack and set up for final assembly. Final assembly took less than 30mins. Very simple, but I also have a Lemond Zurich I made into a cross bike, and a Felt composite road bike, and I wrench on them myself. But really, assembly was simple. The front wheel was way out of true, so had to use a friend's truing stand to get it round and straight. Rear is also a little out but I didn't do that one.I liked the bike from the start. The seat is bad, way to big and wide. I replaced it. Riding it the first time takes a little learning, but the power is very good.I put on SPD peddles so it is easier to spin. So after tinkering with the setup I got it on the road.I have now been riding the G9 and have about 130mi on it. It is a nice ride, and really helping me.Now, there has been one big issue. At about 35mi the motor started to make a scraping sound about every half revolution. After several texts back and forth, service decided something had come loose internally. So Paselec said we will send a new wheel/motor assembly. They also told me to take it to a bike shop and they would pay me back. But I live in the mountains over sn hour to a bike shop. So Paselec service responds quickly to solve problems..The new assembly arrived and I will install next week. But again to wheel needs truing.Overall, very nice bike for a very reasonable price. So the battery runs very low at about 30-35 mi but every ride here is at least 2000ft of climbing. So in gentler terrain I think 50mi is reasonable.Great bike for the buck if you are patient and can do a few fixes yourself.

Not all I thought it would be
This is an updated review. Previously I gave the bike a five star rating. I bought this bike back in March of 2022. This bike got me back into the woods again and for a short time I was really enjoying riding wooded trails again. I had to have a bike shop make some minor adjustments when I first got it but up until this Nov. I never had any problems with it. Unfortunately tonight ( 11-16-22 ) while taking a quick ride on a really cold night around my local neighbor paved trails. suddenly I heard a strange noise from the rear wheel and had to stop. Long story short it seems the internal free wheel inside the motor had frozen up and the bike would no longer pedal. The motor still works but the rear axle might be bent as the wheel looks to be out of alignment. The wire going into the motor looks as though it has almost been pulled out. I have no idea what might have caused this. The bike only has 240 miles on it. I'll probably need a new rear wheel. I'll find out more when I take it to the local bike shop. Thank God this didn't happen miles away from my home or I'd of had to walk the bike back a long ways on a cold night. Luckily I was just entering my parking lot when it happened. Now if the seller can send me a replacement wheel at no charge I will update the review. ( UPDATE )> I took the bike to my LBS and was told that parts inside the rear hub were assembled wrong at the factory. Thankfully they were able to fix this within hours and only cost me $30 to fix. While updating the review I should mention that the rear shock ( as others have said ) does very little and doesn't actually work like a normal shock. I also had to install a chain guide to prevent the chain from falling off when hitting bumps ( this I did after I first bought it ) The bike now appears to work fine so I will upgrade the star rating to three and a half stars. (UPDATE #2 ) The rear wheel ( motor ) started to make a cracking noise after just two week back from the LBS. Sometimes just a short "cracking " and other times multiple crackling in rapid series although the wheel and motor seemed to be otherwise normal. Took to the LBS to see if they could fix this. Sadly was told that a bearing in the motor was broken and that is what was making the noise. I was told I need a new wheel. My rating for this bike is now one star. A new rear wheel will cost me $430 plus labor. I'm not happy.
