Cordoba Soundhole Cover/Feedback Reducer

Works great for my situation. I play my Cordoba 55FCE Negra into my Fishman Loudbox amp in my practice space. Because I face my amp, feedback was a big problem if I used anything more than just the slightest blend in of the internal microphone. If I face away from the amp then no problem, but my entire setup is to face my equipment. This sound hole cover solved the whole problem. No more feedback even if I get crazy and turn the mic all the way up. My hole measures 88mm and this device measures 86mm. However there is no problem using t on my guitar. It sits slightly loose, but does not fall out or get out of place AND it is exceptionally easy to put in and take out since it is slightly loose. So I am completely happy. Problem solved!

Please, before you order one of these, measure the size of your guitar's sound hole. This cover is for 86mm soundholes (3 3/8"). If that isn't the soundhole size of your guitar: don't order this, it won't fit! I have a Cordoba C7-CE. This is an acoutic-electric classical guitar with dual pickups - piezo and a microphone. The cover fits very well. After a bit of a push, it snapped securely in place. Taking it out was easy too - stuck a fingernail under one end of the lip and slowly worked my way towards the middle as far as I could get, then repeated that from the other side. You van do this without removing the strings, the cover fits under them. The cover cannot prevent feedback at every volume - your guitar's body will allow sound to pass through. But I ran this through a Fender Mustang III pointing at the guitar and was able to go to small hall volume without feedback. A nice bonus is that it allows you to practice full stroke force while damping the guitar volume on acoustic. For when you don't want to wake everyone in the house… Enjoy!

It fits my takamine classical guitar nicely. It probably would do well for feedback (but my amplifier goes straight to my headphones so feedback is not a problem). It doesn't, by itself, quiet the guitar enough to prevent it from bothering other folks in my house, but I'm going to stuff my guitar with fitted foam pieces to dead ends the sound and stop face vibrations, so that probably isn't a problem. It does however look nice and will hide the ugly green foam pieces, so I am happy.

Not the perfect fit for my guitar, but works. This was the best I could find that is not custom made for use on my Classical Ibanez thin body guitar.

I could not turn up the mic input on my Cordoba Fusion Orchestra more than about 1/4 way without feedback. Now I can give full mic with no problem. Great sound from full mic and doesn't reduce acoustic volume too much.

It fits my Cordoba C10 Crossover's sound hole perfectly. Cero feedback when amplified.

Here is my experience. This is a CORDOBA soundhole cover. The package says "fits most standard classical and flamenco guitars". I have a standard CORDOBA flamenco guitar (a 2007 model 32EF) - and this cover does NOT fit it. The cover is just a little bit too small for the soundhole. I have no idea why a CORDOBA soundhole cover, made to fit "standard classical/flamenco guitars", would not fit a standard CORDOBA flamenco guitar - but that is the case with the Cordoba model 32EF. So, if you have a Cordoba classical/flamenco, don't just expect this Cordoba Classical/Flamenco soundhole cover to fit. Measure to be sure. This is exactly 86mm (3.39"). Unfortunately, that is not the size of all Cordoba classical/flamenco soundholes. For the record, I took 2 thick rubber bands and carefully layered them around the soundhole cover to add thickness. It's ghetto, but a functional solution in my case.
