HeadRush Multi-Effect Guitar Compact Professional Processor with Expression Pedal, Touchscreen, USB Audio Interface MX5

2年前に発売された当初 某楽器店で試奏してた事もあり (店員さんに詳しく機能を教えて貰いました) 到着から 約３日間で機能を把握。 でも、初めて購入される方は 少し、難儀するマルチエフェクターだと思います。 付属の解説書も ほぼ、簡素な説明しか載っておらず、 最初からプリセットされている 270種類のエフェクト(Rig)も 全く、説明が無いので ほぼほぼ、YouTubeの解説動画を見て 使いこなす、 そんな印象です。 でも機能を理解さえしてしまえば、 ものすごくコスパの良いマルチエフェクターだと思います。

今まで使用していたme80やpodgoなどのマルチと比べると圧倒的に音が違う。 オーディオインターフェース付きなのでかなり便利。DTMなどのレコーディング向き。

チューブアンプ、Heleix LTも使ってますけど ー 音というのは結局自分の好きなサウンド設定ができるものであればOK（クリーン、クランチ、リード）で、アンプモデルやエフェクター数の多さを楽しむのではないかと ー Helix LTも持ち歩きや卓上での使い勝手（大きすぎる）などから同じLINE6を考えたけど・・・中身同じものをまだ買うのか？でMX5を購入した。 普通にいいサウンドで、このサイズがすごく良い。ディスプレイが小さいので文字も小さいし、タッチの反応（スマホと比較するとダメだな）など操作性はちょっとな部分もあるけどいったん設定が終われば終わりと・・・ 音はLINE6と大きな違いは入力ダイナミックレンジがスペック上でも大きいのでピッキングの強弱も幅があり、リアルなアンプ感じかなと・・・ まあ、数で悩むのであればLINE6かな？

中国製を避けたかったので、見た目も良いしコレにしました。 気に入っていますが、いくら優れたインターフェイスとはいえアプリケーションも提供してくれたら完璧。

Después de estar 3 años con el MX5 , hace poco adquirí el FLEX PRIME, ya que me gusta el formato de 3 pulsadores, si no necesitas pedal de expresión puedes tener un 4 pulsador disponible. Para usarlo en directo tengo una carpeta de SETLIST para cada concierto y presets de cada canción y con la posibilidad de tener 6 escenas por preset, que ahora con el FLEX PRIME pueden ser hasta 12. Mejora en todo a la versión anterior: - Mayor cantidad de huecos para colocar efectos(14) con la posibilidad de ecualizar gráficamente cada efecto o amplificador sin necesidad de usar un hueco para agregar una EQ (eso solo para mi es un motivo de peso para adquirirlo) - Mayor cantidad de escenas: 2 grupos de 6 escenas pero con el inconveniente de desactivar el pulsador de afinador, que igualmente se puede activar navegando en los menus, pero lo veo impracticable para directo. - Simulaciones de amplificador del REVALVER que mejoran mucho la calidad de las anteriores simulaciones, que ya eran bastante buenas, con la pega que no aparecen algunos amplis más típicos como el JCM 800 o el SLO 100 que usaba bastante, he tenido que ir a un PEAVEY 6505 y un DIEZEL, pero vamos para mi compensa con creces el poder usar Revalver y siempre puedes cargar un clon o super clon. - Conectividad mejorada, con bluetooth y wifi que permite incluso conectarte con una tablet por la red wifi compartida y poder ajustar los parámetros sin tener la pedalera en la mesa como con la MX5. - Libreria on line de donde descargar más efectos y amplis clonados.

I am extremely happy with this purchase and was pleasantly surprised at the build and versatility of this little tank. First and foremost, while I didn't go through all of the literally hundreds of built-in effects and amp modelers that come with the device, I played around with them enough to know that they are decent, but not mind-blowing. The good thing about that though is there are tons of resources on the web where you can download free and premium (paid) IRs (Impulse Responses) and guitar rigs to faithfully recreate the perfect tones you are wanting from top artists and songs, as well as pre-designed IRs, rigs, and tones that were curated by pros with way more time, patience, and skill than me. I ended up deleting pretty much all of the stock IRs and rigs from the device and I'm replacing them with third-party amps and effects that I use for my own style of playing. All of the ones I've put on the device sound incredible so far even through my cheap Danelectro Nifty Fifty practice amp, and I'm beyond pleased and excited to find what else is out there. The touchscreen is bright and responsive, and is pretty intuitive once you know what you're looking at. Adding new tones is a fairly simple process of plugging your MX5 into your computer, go to Global Settings -> USB Transfer and all of the effects, rigs, and IRs will then be displayed in your File Explorer. You can delete, replace, remove and upload to your heart's content using this method. Now, for the trickier part - operating the pedal has a good bit of a learning curve. I've found it to be pretty essential that, if you don't have a brain that likes playing with tech and figuring things out, a thorough reading of the manual is a must. Since there are only three stomp switches, putting together a "setlist" with multiple guitar rigs and learning how to switch between them took me about an hour or so of playing around to figure out and I still have to pause for a moment to remember how to do certain functions (although the more I use it, I'm getting faster). That aside, I am still giving this the 5-star rating it deserves due to the fact that I KNEW going into it that having only three switches would make things slightly more complicated. That is no fault of the manufacturer, but rather part of the design and the price I signed up for when buying this. I will say, however, that I plan to get the HeadRush Prime in light of the fact that it gives you much more control by having 12 switches as opposed to three (so that I can trigger and control individual effects without needing to perform complicated switching on the fly to get to a specific component). Overall, I highly recommend the MX5 for those who may not need a ton of instant versatility and dynamics and maybe only want to play with a handful of guitar tones at any given time. The pedal itself is designed well, sounds GREAT, and is more than enough for most types of guitar playing out there.

Es un pedal de muy buena calidad y práctico. Trae muchas opciones de uso para sus tres botones que hacen muy fácil crear escenas con la misma cadena de efectos sin cambiar de parche. Me gusta que su pantalla sea touch porque ahorra mucho tiempo en configuraciones. Lo único complicado de manipular a veces es el tamaño de algunos parámetros en la pantalla.

It's got loads of amps and effects that are way too complicated for my brain and cover all the bases well as far as I'm concerned. I find the user interface excellent being a touch screen and knob combination. It was very intuitive and didn't require looking at the manual at all. Important to me is that I wanted a built-in, well implemented looper. This is something that most reviews and YouTubes don't cover. Line 6 (Pod Go, HX Stomp) don't do good loopers in theirs. The Headrush has a permanent, always available looper - at the time of writing, my understanding is that Line 6 require you to place a looper block into the particular patch you're using. This takes up a processing slot and has to be done on a per patch basis. It is also limited to a max of 80 seconds. The Headrush looper is always available and can record up 50 layers up to 5 mins per layer and a total time of up to 20 mins I believe. You're free to change patches between recording layers. It's not a multi-functional looper like BOSS RC-500/600 devices but is great for capturing ideas. It can be connected to the laptop to allow loops to be moved either way. It doesn't have any built-in rhythms like some such as Zoom but you could transfer a WAV or MP3 drum beat via USB and have it as layer one of a loop. You could play stuff through the AUX In but having something controlled via the footswitches is better IMHO. For example, the WAV or MP3 could be an entire song minus your guitar bit which you can then jam/solo over and capture your genius as a new loop layer. You can also record as either pre- or post-processing which, if set to pre-, would allow you to record the clean signal so then when you play it back it will play through whatever the current patch is. This would allow you to take your riff and try out different patches without having to play it again and again. Yes, I would have liked a few more footswitches but that's the way it goes (you could pipe in a MIDI footswitch for some extra control but that'll probably cost you half as much again). The software allows you a lot of flexibility in how you want to configure the footswitches e.g. on/off stomps, patch changes, scene changes, set list changes. I like having the expression pedal. It doesn't get used much but I didn't want to have yet another external expression pedal hanging around when the occasional funk fix is required. Auto Wah is always terrible so the only way to get good wah-wah-ing is to use a pedal in my view so having it there is great. The pedal is small but has a very good movement and weight to it. Very solid (and tension can be adjusted). The whole device is nice and compact, very sturdily built and fits in a gig bag pocket a treat (the sticky out ones, not the flush zip ones). Personally, I couldn't be happier and wish I'd bought it sooner.

This is a great option for a modern modeller. The fact that it is one of the smallest with this feature set and as a simple navigation set up with a touch screen is amazing. The sounds are great coming out of this thing. I run it into my Duncan Powerstage and my own cab. I cannot comment on the sound quality of the onboard IRs but there are so many great free ones available (including the two celestion ones in the box) that this is a non-issue these days. My only complaint would be that there are only a few metal amps and a lack of modern metal overdrive pedals. This is a minor issue as the ones that are there are great! The eq pedals are very effective at fixing this issue as well! Great job Headrush.
