Why are the mcg/mg dosages listed mega doses ?

Have your doctor regularly test your liver, as some of the other answers suggest. Regarding dosage, many of the RDA amounts are old news from the 1950s. There are exceptions, of course--potassium was recently updated, its RDA increasing dramatically! Personally, I like the high selenium. Combined with low-dose Lugol's iodine, selenium has prevented my insane hair loss! Every body is unique, however. This multi has some of the most superior versions of vitamins available! :)

Does this product contain selenium?

Yes it contains 200 mcg of Selenium per day, which is a lot! On the Australian multivitamin tablets I have taken in the past, there is a warning on the bottle that says "This product contains Selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 Micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded." Although I have only been taking one Basic Nutrient tablet per day, I will stop taking this formula once I have finished this bottle as I feel it contains too much Selenium.

iServe says that some of the vitamin sources are fermented, so can the vendor explain how there isn't any yeast in them?
