Best bang for your buck!!
So I originally purchased a GTX model for myself when I first got a new helmet. Worked pretty well but didn't really like it when it connected to my bike and my phone at the same time. Small issue and it didn't really notice after I worked through it. So I decided to try their better lines. I bought this first MTX dual pack for the wife and kiddo and installed them right after Christmas. Mesh radio is pretty outstanding. Click one button to activate and join a channel and it's almost like talking on the phone. Super clear long range highly impressed there. Battery life is ridiculously long. Volume, if you can get the speakers position correctly, is outstanding. If you're having problems with volume you need to move the speakers inside your helmet to be closer to your ear. These come with the big boy speaker so they're a good size and loud. If you have the speaker pockets in your helmet they fit perfectly there. The x-lite helmet didnt have pockets so I had to play woth speaker position a bit on that helmet. I have these installed on a Shoei RF-1400, HJC RPHA 11 Pro, and an X- Lite X-803 RS ultra carbon race replica helmet. All installed pretty easily. My only gripe the size of the double-sided tape mount. It could have been a little bigger. The one on a GTX was perfect. Plenty of mount options so if that doesn't pan out I can always choose something else. Others have raved about the magnetic mount If you need to switch helmets easily. I won't be switching units around as I bought enough units for all my helmets. If you got everything set up correctly you'll have a flawless setup. Plenty loud at any speed. If you're still having volume issues adjust those speakers inside your helmet. If you're looking to support the Little guy and aren't really a fan of the cardos or the Sena's... And don't want to spend $400 on a headset. This is going to be your jam. Hands down the best bang for your buck for features loudness clarity and quality. Support was helpful with any issues I had. And they stand behind their product which is a must for me. Update. Couple months into use... Still works perfectly. Volume is loud AF at any speed. No glitches to speak of. So happy I went with Lexin and not Cardo or Sena!

Pretty Decent for the Price
Seems pretty decent so far. Bought these to replace my old Scala rider headsets, as they’re much cheaper in price, and we mostly wanted to listen to music and navigation while riding. Battery life has been great. Says it takes 2.5 hrs to fully charge, but I usually plug it in on Sunday night, and use it all week back and forth to work on a single charge. I’ve never gotten below 50%, even after some long weekend rides. Sound of the speakers is plenty fine. Not a lot of bass, but they’re small speakers so that’s expected. My only complaint here is that my scala units raised and lowered the volume automatically with speed, these don’t do that. Again, more money generally gives you more features, so I can live with it. Using the clamp-on style clip, as the shape of the stick-on style made them too flimsy for me to trust. Depends on the curve of your helmet, but for me it didn’t match, so the double sided tape only had a very thin area to stick at the top and bottom edges, leaving the middle unstuck. No big deal, but I don’t remove it from my helmet to charge or anything. My scala I used to take off when I’d park my bike and leave my helmet chained to it for long periods so it wouldn’t get stolen. This unit’s plastic clip seems kind of flimsy, so I try not to pull it on and off very often. Bluetooth sync’s no problem to three different devices I’ve connected to. Have only tested the intercom across the house, but did notice it was staticky after pairing the units. May just be a line of sight thing, so I can’t really knock it until I test further on the road. Overall it gets the job done, and for the pair, it was still cheaper than purchasing one of the more namebrand units. Over 6 month review- Still very happy with these headsets. The girlfriend and I are able to listen to whatever we want independently, but with the quick button tap and wait for the beep, and we can chat. Automatically ends the chat after a short period of silence, and back to music/nav you go. Sound is decent and plenty loud. Battery life has been outstanding! I ride about a half hour each way to work everyday and only charge it about once every two weeks. Good choice and very affordable compared to the top brands in this market.

4 stars because sound quality via streaming music is not great, phone calls are.
So, I've had the opportunity to listen to music by Bluetooth and there is a lack of bass as others have said. There is lots of treble, so the sound is far from muddy but I wish there was more bass. Phone call quality is great. I have a flip face helmet and even with the face up and the sun visor down, the person on the other end can hear great. The noise canceling of the wind is great. Have yet to try the intercom since my friend that has the other set is not close by, but we tend to ride in the summertime over a few days quite a bit, so that will be nice to test in terms of overall distance from each other when riding. Have another friend that is taking the motorcycle course, so will end up buying another system from this company to keep the brand the same amongst the three of us. Would I buy again if something happens to my current set...probably. Mounting was simple with the 3M tape to my helmet and wiring took a bit to get it just right, but simple install. Synced no problem with my phone and using Android Auto with this device makes things easy. I would recommend for the most part if you are looking for something that is not too expensive. Battery life via music streaming is pretty good. I usually ride 80km a day and could probably go 4 days without charging, so a big plus there. All in all a decent product that arrived pretty quickly, especially since it went to an APO mailbox.

This system amazingly good and reliable. Sound quality even at 70 mph is clear but note my comment below about installing the speakers. The unit is easy to set up and simple to operate. Once linked to your phone via bluetooth, they find each other automatically when switched on and it hasn't had to be re-connected once. The battery has good performance and it still states 100% after 3 or 4 hours use. I bought a second unit for my partners helmet and the intercom function works very well once set up - follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. You have to accept that you'll get wind noise in your helmet so no intercom is going to be perfect. I installed my speakers with the supplied packers behind to push the speakers as close to my ears in the helmet as possible. If you use ear plugs, of course your clarity is going to be impaired. I've not used the button microphone much for making phone calls but its very clear when used as an intercom. My friend bought a leading brand system and paid at least three times the money. He can't hear anything above 40mph. One niggle was the supplied 'push-in' bracket to attach to the helmet. It didn't fit my LS2 helmet or my partners - but I had this problem with another intercom system as well. Fortunately this system supplies a surface mount option with 3M adhesive pad. I've used on both helmets and has stayed firm for several weeks.

Used with a Bell Qualifier DLX and HJC i10 helmet. Quick recap, I originally picked up a VNETPHONE V6 Pro set about 2 weeks before based on a family member's recommendation. He is using one and likes it, so I ordered one in (dual set) because my wife and I had planned a 450km motorcycle trips planned out. In short, we had a hard time pairing the VNET V6 units, we had to reinitiate the units after each shut-off, unlike my cousin's unit. So we just kept them turned on all the time. During most of the trip, we always had a hard time understanding each other. Lots of noise/static, poor audio and the moment we got to far apart... signal was toast! Not a bad unit but not the one for me. A good friend suggested the Lexin B4FM units and he is using them in out in the woods on his 4x4's. I ordered up a set because I was already returning the VNET's and I can always trust his opinion on any gear that we are both into. A worthy quick mention, Lexin as two versions of the B4FM units being sold. Easy enough to tell them apart. Both have different communication buttons. One version has a "helmet" type button and the other a "X" button. We got the "X" version. Also, both have different mounting systems and pairing methods. Would be nice to have the same units shipped out or at least, have them use the same mounting clips and pairing info. Packaging: When the Lexin units arrived, I was immediately impressed by the packaging alone. There was more detailed information on the box and on the inside, the instructions manual was nice and clear and the inner packing was awesome! Each piece and component had its own ziplock bag, not all tossed into one bag and here ya go! The little things usually give a good idea of what to expect. Installation: It was simple but had me slightly worried. Most videos we watched online for the B4FM is not the same as my units, as mentioned above about the two models. The online videos show a big paper clip type of system for the install versus mine was a 2pcs metal/plastic clip you tighten up together between the shell. It comes with an additional 3M rubber sticker and would strongly suggest adding that extra rubber over the one on the metal clip to ensure a tighter fit. If you don't, our bracket could come off easily... this might be my only complaint on these. So all depending on what unit you receive might be a little bit confusing. B4FM unit: If you follow the instructions, easy to use. Because of the two versions going around, you can't base yourself on the Youtube clips and wrap it up... unless of course, you received the same version. But using the units, pairing your phone (Samsung Android) was a breeze, using the FM radio was simple and pretty good reception. The option of being to save up to 6 channels is a nice touch! The B4FM unit connects up to 4 users at once, I haven't tested that. But pairing up our two units was easy enough and ALWAYS had a steady connection... Audio Quality: Being an audiophile myself I like good sound. But having something this small at this price point, I can't complain. Yes, the sound is a little thin and high on mids the treble, it could use a little more bass to beef up the tone (bigger speakers) but you can always adjust your cell phone EQ's audio to help out. I did and went with 2 custom settings and it was a good improvement. I also tried it out with different types of music and artists (Al Green, ZZ Top, Monster Truck, Black Label Society, CCR, Slayer, Sade and a few others) and adjusted the EQ and rolling up the bass helps. See pics that worked well for me in my setup. Intercom: I was really, really impressed. Cruising at lower speeds 40kmh to 60kmh audio communication was clear . Going from 65kmh to 110kmh, even with our visors open we had no issues hearing one another... unlike the other unit I mentioned. The noise cancellation system in these really seems to work well. No complaints whatsoever on this aspect. We intentionally split up to increase the distance between us to test Its reach/limit... and if I had to guess, we reach approximately a 1.2km apart (1200 meters) we still talked and understood each other fine. Pushed beyond that and we encountered static... my wife said I cut in and out at that distance. We might have been at 1.6km (1600 meters) as claimed by Lexin but I can't be sure... riding at 100kmh we gaged the distance. So IMO, that is incredible! In a normal situation, we would never be that far apart anyway... so the B4FM passed that test with flying colors! Battery life: Impressed to say the least. We had our units turned on for 9.5hrs straight... didn't turn them off once. I got home last night after our ride and kept playing around with the unit. Pairing up my phone, listening to music, testing out the GPS on the phone with the unit and this morning the batt level is still at 100%!! Manual: Read it carefully, don't skip certain procedures and you won't have an issue... its very a simple KISS manual. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the Lexin B4FM to ANYONE on a budget looking for a great unit. It obviously isn't one of those other higher-priced brands that are over $300 + for a single intercom unit. The B4FM doesn't have the same technology and doesn't have the same cool "MESHY" features and the other jazz... but at $207 CDN for a two headset kit, this little unit holds its own and does it oh so well! In fact, If I had the extra money, I would love to try out ALL of Lexin's products... I am very impressed to say the least. Safe riding everyone!!
