Merrell Women's Azura Strap-W

I have a pretty narrow foot and I like the way these fit. They are lightweight and have several straps to adjust to your needs. I have worn them out shopping all day several times and have had no issues. The rubber-like material isn't as soft as the suede-like foot beds but it does not trap odors like the suede can. They are on the sporty side but I still think they are more feminine than many I have seen/purchased.I also wanted to comment on some of the other concerns mentioned in prior comments.First, yes, the buckle is very difficult to operate, however, there is also a Velcro strap on top that allows you to loosen that strap enough to slide your foot in so you do not even need to use the buckle (at least that has worked for me).Second, the lines on the bottom of the foot bed are noticeable and I do have a pretty tender foot, but I do not find it bothersome to the point of painful or not wanting to wear the shoe.Last, I have purchased Merrells in the past (many years ago), the arch support is definitely not what it used to be but I still found it supportive.

I had been looking for walking sandals for about a month when I found these at a local shoe store, however they only had them in what I call tan & puiky (sorry about the spelling: sort of like poky) green. The tan I could live with, not so the puky green! After searching the web and doing the price comparison I found them lower priced in all the range of colors here. I ordered them on a Saturday expecting them by Wednesday and got them on Tuesday & in my favorite color. I have worn them all day & for just a few hours, they are comfy and have not needed a break in period. After wearing them a full day, I do not have the urge to take them off as soon as I get home! I will be ordering a second pair as soon as I figure out which color!

I find them durable and comfortable, light weight and casual for my walking needs. I really have not worn them as it is too cold but I have tried them and they seem very nice for my needs. Only one thing I do not like is that the little catch is very hard for me to open, to squeeze together, I would have preferred them to be all velcro opening and adjustable. Thankfully they do have some adjustment with the velcro part of the opening so I do not have to undo the catch. That is my only problem with them. I am 75 and so my hands are not that strong. One side is not as easy as the other side so they are not perfect. Maybe a second for the reduced price?? I can get them on and they are comfortable and hopefully will not wear out in 3 months.

Usually Merrells are GREAT, but these Azuras are just OK. I like these sandals BUT ... they do not meet my normal Merrell expectations. I've worn the jungle mocs and my very favorite Merrells were the WaterPro Pandi that they quit making a couple of years ago. Q-Form helped me postpone knee and hip replacement surgeries for several years. So -- compared to my Merrells of the past, these are NOT up to that quality. True, I was amazed to get Merrells for the price I paid but that is reflected in the final product. They work great for a knock-around, quick-shopping-trip or around-the-house shoe but I can't wear the Azura for as long as I can wear my other Merrells. These are not as adjustable as the pictures lead you to believe (most of the straps are just for looks). The left shoe pinches my instep and arch quite a bit and the little buckle can be hard to release.

I received my sandals the night before going to an amusement park in Eastern Tennessee. I have never tried this brand of sandal before and was slightly fearful of wearing them for the 1st day in such a setting, however, I needed a sandal that wouldn't fall off my feet on rides. I shouldn't have had any fears. My feet felt great at the end of the day. The size 7 I bought fit perfectly. I have always worn a 7 but in recent years I have taken a 7 1/2 or 8 because standardized sizing is becoming a thing of the past. I will definitely purchase another pair in the future.

I bought this sandal to replace a similar pair that was getting old. These are so comfortable that I can wear them all day. I like them for a vacation sandal when I will be doing a lot of walking in warm weather. Because they are pretty I can wear them in the city or on the Vegas strip or camping . On camping trips I don't worry about dirt or getting them wet. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

I absolutely LOVED these sandals. Great fit and support and clearly my favorite sandal EVER until the strap at the ankle of the left shoe just fell apart. The strap just frayed apart. I thought they were loose and went to tighten them and found the buckle in my hand.They were my second pair of shoes on an extended one month vacation, so I was stuck wearing tennis shoes for the final week of my travel. Luckily they broke when I was at our hotel for dinner and not out on a trail.I was so upset that I just left them at the trash bin in my room. I guess I should have hauled them back and tried to return them.I only had them 6 months and probably wore them 30 or so times. SOOOO disappointed. Very poor quality. Two stars only because I loved them in the beginning. This was definitely like a very bad romance.

I had a pair of sandals from Merrell somewhat like these. I wore them for two years, but now they are not looking spiffy anymore. They are still fine for running to the store or everyday around the house, but I wanted a updated pair . I put them on when they arrived by UPS. I have worn them everyday since them. They have an updated design and are so comfortable. I have bunions and need a shoe with a high arch! These are great!
