This is a beautiful chafing dish set with a large food volume capacity. I assembled one of the four chafing dishes (and proud I did it all by myself!). That way I could give you an intimate review from someone who got familiar with the product by assembling it. The chafing dish includes a large water bowl and a top bowl (where the food sits). You can use this chafing dish for iced items (such as shrimp served on ice) or other cold items, or hot items, using Sterno or other canned heat products.The set is made of a strong stainless steel. The handles, legs and top cover pull are gold. The silver-gold contrast is pretty. The only feature I didn't love was the metal wire piece that hangs on the rim of the frame. When the chafing dish is opened, the large cover nests in this wire piece. It works but, in my opinion, it's not as stable as having a hinged top and bottom. However, it wouldn't stop me from buying this set. The way it comes as a separate cover and bottom pieces makes it easier to transport to events.The assembly instructions are not entirely clear; however, I figured it out. The machined parts and matching holes were well made. All components came well protected; this chafing dish x 4 has numerous parts. I found the seller's photos online most useful to make sure I positioned the parts properly. You need a small Phillips screwdriver (not included) to secure your screws. If you want to make an impact at your next gathering, or if you do catering, these chafing dishes will hit the mark and serve you (and everyone feasting!) well. They definitely have that OOO-AHHH effect. I hope my information helped you.
