Nite Ize XXLarge Cell Phone Case for my LG G4
I was looking for a clip on belt mounted horizontal holder with decent construction that would hold my LG G4. This phone case is it. My bare G4 easily fits, but I do not have a bare G4. I have a generic rubberized protective case on it that increases the phone thickness to 11/16" and length to 6". The first week or two the phone was a very snug fit, particularly the length. After about 2 weeks the case stretched so that now the phone fits snugly and slides in and out much easier. The material is quality leather with tight stitching. The belt clip is the best I have found and is riveted to the substantial leather case. I can put it on and take it off without too much effort. The clip itself is constructed in a way that it is almost impossible to accidentally come off the belt. It is very securely attached to the case with rivets and I doubt it would separate unless the case itself was destroyed or the clip was violently ripped off my belt. My forward movement has already been stopped when I was not paying attention and the case caught on something. Zero damage to the case or clip. The clip fits belts up to 2 3/16 wide. On smaller belts the case does slide along the belt but I found this to be a benefit for me. When driving the car I want the case to be in a different position than when walking, and in a different position when sitting at tables. Shifting it is a breeze. On my older cases with spring clips & loops the loops would eventually stretch or break from continual stress of wearing & shifting the case. The spring clips always failed over time because the clip lost some springiness. Not good when you bend down and your phone case slides off to the ground next to you. That is if you even noticed it slid off. The flap closure is Velcro, not a magnetic clasp. For me this was a plus because my phone & protective case was at the limits of the case and a magnetic closure may not have closed or stay closed. With the Velcro closure I can snug up the flap as much as I want. On my next phone I will be checking out Nite Ize products first.

Best. Holster. Ever.
When I look for a holster, I want four things: protection, a holster that stays on my belt, a holster that holds the phone firmly and a decent look. This holster delivers in all four ways. First, protection: I get on and off of a lot of planes every year, and in and out of more rental cars than I can count. I've been jostled in crowds, fallen and had things fall on me, and I need to know that phone will still work. Worse is when the holster comes off the belt and holster and phone fall to the ground. Which brings me to point two: a holster that will stay on my belt. I've had coats, seat belts, plane seats and almost everything else you can think of knock other holsters off my belt. Well, this one is hard to get off even when you want it to come off. I usually just undo the belt and slip it out, because it is way easier. The clip is permanently attached to the holster, and is made of a strong plastic. It is holding up just fine after a couple months of using it all day, every day. Along with that, I want a holster that holds the phone snugly, so that the phone can't come out too easily. Doesn't help to have the holster say on the belt if the phone can easily be knocked out of the holster. That won't happen with this phone. First, the case on my Note 4 is nice and snug. Second, the Velcro closure takes a bit of force to pull open. It is also noisy, which can be both a plus, and a minus (don't expect to unobtrusively remove your phone during a business meeting, for example). the plus is that I can hear it, and feel it, when the Velcro opens. A colleague with a magnetic latch holster had it stolen right off his belt and never felt, or heard, a thing. Finally, looks. Once you get past the whole "I've got a brick on my belt" thing, I just want a holster that doesn't stand out, or scream "look at MEEEEEE." This holster fits the bill, but beyond that, I actually like the way it looks, and have even had a couple of people ask me about it. So it passes the looks test. My biggest test of how much I like a product is asking myself if I would buy it again. If I lost my current holster, I would be on Amazon ASAP to buy this one again. It does exactly what I want, and is exactly what I need. I recommend this without reservation.

Awesome Cell Phone Case
If you are going to have a LARGE cell phone, then the case will have to be LARGE as well. The Nite Ize Clip Case Executive Holster-Carrying Case looks large on your hip, but it's leather, so it looks stylish at the same time. Advertised dimensions are 5.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches. However those are external dimensions, which include the depth of the Sturdy Plastic Belt Clip. Inside dimensions are 5.5 x 3.25 x 5/8 inches. Case has elastics sides which allow it to expand to about 3/4 inch comfortably. I currently have a Nokia Lumia with the Case and it fits perfectly. The dimensions with the case are 5 3/8 x 3 1/16 x 5/8 inches. It slides in well and the finger push hole at the bottom allows me to push it up about an inch, and then I am able to grab the phone from the top. I am hoping that as the case wears in...this process will become smoother. There is a "stretchy" divider inside the case, which could be used to hold a few cards, or maybe even a few dollars, but if your phone is 5/8 inch thick or thicker, I would be concerned about possibly loosing a card or money as you extracted the phone from the case. I am going to experiment by using a few "dummy" credit cards and a few singles. I had dreams about the possibility of using this case as a cell phone / wallet and ditching my bulky leather wallet, but alas, it will not be so. Side Note: I could always buy a 2nd Nite Ize case to wear on the other hip, to hold one of those aluminum wallets??? At what point do we start looking like Batman with Leatherman pouches, Mini Mag Light pouches, cell phone cases, etc. PROS - Belt Clip - Will not accidentally come off your belt or even the waist band of your Jeans. Leather construction well made quality stitching. CONS - I have read from other reviews about the Velcro Closure. I am not sure who Nite Ize is targeting for their customer base on this one...Police, Security Officers, SWAT, or Special Forces...because the Velcro works very well keeping the flap closed. Too well for the average Cell Phone user. Once person even wrote that the force of pulling the flap open what casing his Velcro to separate from the Flap at the stitches. (That's crazy) I've been using mine for 2 days now, and I fastened a piece of velcro (the soft loop side) the same size as the velcro hooks to the case main body...which effectively disables the velcro closure...for now... I have plans to modify the closure using strong magnets from an old $5 cell phone case. Probably using a combination of Velcro and Glue to effectively convert the Nite Ize Clip Case Executive Holster-Carrying Case from a Velcro closure to a Magnetic Closure. (Without modifying the original case design or destroying it.) It would be nice if Nite Ize would offer this case with options like Strong Magnetic Closure, and also in a nice Brown leather. I will update in a few weeks. I would recommend this product to a friend. (and then show them how to disable the velcro :-)

Great at first but don't expect to get more than 12 months out of it.
This is my 4th Nite Ize case to date and I've had the same love/hate relationship with them since my first, back when I owned a Galaxy S2. I currently own the XXL to house my LG G6 and protective case. The phone & case fit inside the Nite Ize very well, which was obviously the main reason for buying this. The secondary reason was the card holder, which is a must-have for me but always lets me down. The problem here is that the elastic in the case section stretches too much, to the point of being almost useless since cards will often come flying out of the case. If you're someone who plays in the park or elsewhere with their kids then you're either not going to be able to run around or you'll have to take this case off your belt. I've had cards fall out just from taking my phone out at the cinema to turn the ringer off, and I really wish Nite Ize could have added something as simple as a Velcro tab to folder over the card pocket to help hold it shut. Another problem is that the case just began to fall apart within a couple of months. Not only did it quickly look awful in that time but I bought my latest one in April 2017 and by August it had begun to show signs of wear & tear, going for a nice rich black to 'beat-up grey'. I don't do anything crazy or go anywhere that would damage this - it literally just sits on my belt while I go about my day to day business. Also, apart from the elastic stretching out too much, the seams start to fall apart and - worse - the Velcro holding the main flap shut falls apart. Again, these are issues that I have faced with 4 out of 4 Nite Ize Clip Cases (only the sizes that I've bought have changed). This means that I've actually developed a habit of pressing the flap down every 20 or 30 seconds at any point during my day, more to make sure my phone is still there since I've given up on trying to make this stay close. This is extremely annoying and makes the case little more than a constantly-opening pocket for my phone rather than any sort of secure holder. On the positive side, the belt loops have always held up perfectly for me! Despite just earning 3 stars I'll probably replace this (again...) since it's the only case I know that fits the phone well and lets me carry cards around without having to put a wallet in my pocket, too. EDIT: (And this is an important one) I contacted Nite Ize Customer Service who replied within hours. They told me I should have contacted them sooner and that they have a "Worry Free Guarantee". Once I had provided my info & proof of purchase they got straight back to me, informing me they were sending a replacement right away. While I can't, in good faith, give this 5 stars because of the problems I've had, I'll happily bump this up to 4 thanks to the excellent Customer Service. Knowing that the company stands by their products, flaws and all, means I'll give them more business.

High quality phone case.
Best phone case I've ever owned. Worth every penny. My first case lasted over 5 years as a work and EDC. Strong belt clip. Made of tough material. Can carry your phone and other small items. Very functional and comfortable,

Larger size, same great product!
Im a bit of a Nite Ize fan and have been for years. I first bought their mini maglight LED conversion kit (the one that voided the maglight warranty and didnt even have an on button!) and have watched them grow ever since. I buy several things from them. This case is for my new larger phone. I am active at work, climbing ladders, crawling under things, walking around alot. This case does the 2 vital things I need: 1)It locks on my belt. Not clips-on, LOCKS! Their clip is amazing. In theory I should be able to use 2 hands and work it off my belt; in practice, I unbuckle my belt and slide it off. Yeah, its that good. Its why i have their flashlight and multi-tool holders on my belt as well. (I think I did reviews on them). Oh, and the clip slips over your belt to clip on easily, and will outlast the rest of the case. 2) The case seals shut. Now you need to actually close the velcro with a push, but once its closed, it stays closed. Magnets can be jolted open, but this velcro wont be. Of course the velcro will wear out, just like the elastic bands on the sides, but it lasts a good long time. I typically buy a new case to just look nicer before the case is completly worn out. Obviously, YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary, I love that abbreviation! Lol) based on the use/abuse you give it. I have routinely had two of these at a time, one to beat up at work (usually 6 months+ usage) and one for personal usage (usually 12 months+ usage). When my "work" case wears out, I buy a new "personal" case and rotate the personal case to be my new work case. I protect my phone with an "edge-type" case for when I drop it, but this case keeps my phone on my hip securely anytime its not in my hands. Im not telling you to buy one, Im asking why you dont have one already!?! ;)

A durable case
This is the second case I've gotten. It's the same model and the last one. It was durable and I've had it for ten years. It can go another ten years with no problem. The only reason I bought this one is because I got a new phone. This is a excellent case and I highly recommend it.
