Seller and product was exceptional!
Very happy with product! I bought 12 comfrey roots. All 12 had exceptional growth. They also sent 2 extra roots. I am very pleased with the seller's quality of product and outstanding customer service. They included excellent instructions, that helped me alot on planting and care of the plants. I definitely recommend using this seller and their products.

3 years later and I love it
It's been 3 years since we got ours and I'm really happy with it.Only 4 of the pieces grew, but they have really been prolific in putting out leaves. We've been chop and dropping them a few times a year, and they hold up really well.I'm only writing this review now because comfrey has been brought up as a tool for pain relief recently and I decided to finally try it out tonight and found that our 4 plants have turned into 9 after 3 years. Not sure why that happened, but I'm happy because I was planning on taking them out of the ground to split into more plants anyway.Too early to say about the pain relief, but it's great for our mini food forest yard.

Kind of pricey, but and good investment for gardeners
Received my order yesterday, after the first package was lost in transit seller is responsive to issues . 13 pieces. About 3 inches long, pencil, to quarter in diameter each. I inspected the roots and found them fresh and I am expecting them to grow really well. Instructions are nice touch. With a link to YouTube channel with more information. Currently in pots on my window. In 90% finished compost 7/27/19 -Will update.Update one: August 3rd 2019.just checking on the plants watering them, I noticed the first of the 13 have sprouted moved all pots to garden .Update#2 out of concern that the rest were duds, as I have not seen any new growth on the surface. I contacted the seller which encouraged me to wait up to 8 weeks. So I decided to up pot the cuttings, and identify the roots, to determine if I had seen any new growth, and also place said cuttings in a larger pot... Using the sprouted comfrey as a baseline, I was able to determine at least 11 of the 12 other comfrey Roots I had, developed new growth. I had completed the uppotting of all the plants with 90% finished compost. and returned them to the Sunny spot in my garden..10/23/19Okay final verdict, all of them were growing , but I killed off a couple of them cuz I overwatered..Most likely I would buy again. In the beginning they all we're growing Roots perfectly, I feel I could have gotten 100% it was my fault, I may get again in the spring who knows .

Most excellent-be patient!
I received and planted on the same day, June 11th 2022. On July 17th, my 12th one came up. Even though it says full sun, we have been, very, very hot here in Missouri, so I have given them some sun, a couple of hours, then covered them with cardboard for the rest of the day. I also, not knowing my soil pH, sprinkled tomato tone fertilizer, garden lime, blood meal, bone meal and Epsom salt on my plants (I make up a mixture to sprinkle on my tomato and cucumber plants, so I added it to my comfrey plants too). I also planted some reproducing itself comfrey plant seeds, some came up and some died off, but they are in the taller pots in the picture too, and one plant is already in the ground. I have ground egg shells around the plants because something has been eating my new leaf growth. I planted to use the dried leaves for fruit tree fertilizer and winter supplemental food for our chickens. I would purchase these roots again. I am very pleased that they all came up but , with my instant gratification attitude these very slow growing plants pushed my "be patient" button big time.
