Single-Outlet Water Timer for Garden Hose, Programmable Water Faucet Timer with Rain Delay, Automatic and Manual Watering, Low Battery Protection

I am so impressed with it’s performance I will be buying the 4 zone water timer versionfor my garden. Excellent product, especially for the price.The setup for this product was super simple and straight forward after watching the video above, I did glance at the included manual as well. I popped in 2 AA batteries, set the time, and programmed in my custom watering schedules for newly seeded grass. Attaching the timer to my facet was as easy as attaching any standard watering hose, I did not need to use the tape included for leaks as the water timer had a perfect seal with my facet. I verified the water timer started at the appropriate time and had the correct duration, it performed both perfectly.The timer has performed well without fail so far for more than a month and grass is growing happily. What a time saving of not having to go outside and turn on and off my water multiple times as day. It has the added benefit of saving water and still getting the required watering done. I highly recommend this product.

This was very easy to program, simple to use, and worked well. Overall great product!

I like the size, the screened washer included, water proof battery cover, read-out LED screen is large and easy to read without reading glasses.The knob to turn on-off and to different settings only makes a small click noise. It would be nice if there was a manual click 'feeling' when you turn it to a new setting to help you know you're on that setting, for sure.Instructions are very well written in full, complete sentences and English structure. Well written. Every setting has complete step-by-step instructions.What was, and still is, confusing is the knob setting How Long. There are two extra settings in How Long: Soaking and Watering. I did not need Soaking and left it at OhrOOmin. The Watering section showed up, I did not think I needed it and left it at zero. Turned knob to next setting. Later, discovered you must use the Watering setting section. Went back to set a time and that section never, never, never showed up again.I ignored this part of the instructions, set the timer on my faucet, and it works great.No idea what that Watering section setting is about.Otherwise, this is a dandy little effiecient timer.

The timer doesn't seem to work correctly on this. I read the directions several times but it comes on at odd times and seems to stay on well past the set period. I would set it to come on for 5 mins 6 times a day between 7am and 10pm and it would instead come whenever it felt like it including the middle of the night and stay on for 30 mins at a time. I attempted to reprogram several times but was unsuccessful at eliminating the odd behavior.

It's simple to setup, install and use. Easy to read display. Works as expected. Nice and convenient time saver when watering.

Don’t like this timer much. Not sure if I got a bad one but it doesn’t seem to work right.

The electronics are good, programming is easy, and the screen is easy to read. Controls are very simple, too. You can set up to 3 repeating watering periods (not zones, as there is only one output) and intervals can range over both hours and days. All good.Where this unit fails is having all plastic hose connectors, the unit itself not being waterproof (more below), and it is only a 2-AA battery controller, which means more frequent battery replacements.The unit carries an IP54 rating, which basically means that it is dust and water resistant, in this case, water resistance is only to light and occasional splashes. It cannot withstand immersion or rain. Pretty ridiculous for a hose-end product.Still, it could be used in a greenhouse setting, indoors (if you can figure out the garden hose connection), or under cover, say on a covered patio or entryway. I think it's fine for smaller installs servicing a few plants in these kinds of situations. For anything serious, look for a more robust controller with more outlets.

I really got this water timer for adding water to my pool each week, but its capabilities are such that I have tried it for watering plants during dry spells (that isn't that often, as the summer has been quite rainy).It provides for regular watering followed by soaking, and is easy to program for your particular needs. It comes with everything you need - including teflon tape for leak-free connections.I don't know how well it would handle freezing temperatures, but we never have those in our part of Florida. If I were further north, it might be worthwhile to remove it and store it indoors during the winter.Regardless how you use it, if you have regular watering needs, this handy timer can do the job for you without any thought on your part.
