Q: Why is the size chart the same for both girls and women’s pants?

A woman small is like a youth 16 or Xl

Q: My six year old is tall, she wears a size 10-12 normally. Would medium or large work?

My daughter just turned 12, she's 5"2 and weighs 115 pounds. I got a Small in these and they fit her perfectly. These are not children's pants, they are juniors/women's.

Q: If my daughter uses size 7/8 girls what size would she use in these ?

My daughter uses 7/8 but softball pants run small and even the medium was very tight
