Great display
the tachometer was very easy to install, the only issue was installing the light, directions were not clear

Works Great on Lawn Mower
The media could not be loaded. This was the only tach I could find that went to 4k rpm and was compatible with a single cylinder motor. Needed this for lawn mower build. Looks cool and works great. Calibration is key.

Unit also works with tachometer drives
Used them on an old cummins on my boat that had tachometer drives. (Didn't hook to the alternator). Setting was very close at install just a minor tweak and locked in.

Good for the money
We replaced the engine on an old tractor, and the replacement engine did not have a tach drive on it. So, we got this one, which works by connecting to the alternator. The alternator already had the 3rd terminal on it, so all we had to do, was make the connections. One wire to power, one to ground, and a signal wire to the 3rd spade on the alternator. The directions were a little sketchy, but were good enough to get it hooked up. Included in the box, is a little tool you use to calibrate the gauge. This leads to my only real quibble with the tach. Calibration is straight forward, but the calibration adjustment is very touchy. It took me a few tries to get it just right because it was easy to overshoot the proper setting because the tiniest bit of movement made a big difference in the displayed RPMs.However, once I got it properly calibrated, it works very, very smoothly, and so far, has stayed in calibration.

Works. But wiring is wonky.
It works. But the ground wire doesn’t work with the light. You have to run an additional ground wire to the metal surround. Also the wire colors don’t match the instructions.

Good quality
I installed it on my marine Yanmar on my boat. It's possible to calibrate perfectly.

It was a great replacement for the OEM part at 1/4 the cost could not have been more pleased

Disappointed
Ordered 2 tachometers to match on my boat, after 2 months 1 of the tachs starts working erratically. Tried contacting the seller, silence.Guess you get what you pay for.
