Fantastic portable grinder
This is one great piece of kit. Honestly I didnt quite know what to expect having never owned or used Outin products before, but having had quite a few very mid quality grinders. Now I realise why a quality grinder is worth the money. The unit itself is really solid and a good combination of metals and plastics and the feel throughout is premium. All twist actions are super easy to use and its very easy to fill the grinder suitably with beans and select your grind level with a twitst of the collar at the top.Once filled its a simple as pressing go and waiting for it to finish. It employs some kind of technical magic to determine when it has ground all the beans, and I have tested with larger and smaller, and also no fill and it gets it right (except when over-filled) and finishes up the grind perfectly to quantity. The supplied carry bag is nice as is the lid and dusting brush to allow you to easily clean and transport your ground beans.Another great thing is that is really quiet. Maybe Ive become too used to the sound of a bean to cup machine but this is really really quiet compared. The downside of course, is that its slower than a mains powered device taking several minutes for a full grind at max load to be completed. If you are doing a pour over though this isnt such a big deal as you can heat your water while it grinds. Its a little heavy to take on light weight camping trips where ever gram counts, but ideal to carry perhaps to the office if you dont have facilities to make fresh coffee, or to take glamping / van camping / to a hotel or airbnb to make your brew.Lovely bit of kit that looks the part and works well.

Top quality product but at a significant premium
This is by far the nicest and fanciest grinder I have ever owned, though I must admit, all I've ever had has been a bog-standard mains powered one button grinder that grinds for as long as you hold the button down.Having said that, I can appreciate a good quality product, which this most certainly is.Everything about this machine screams quality - from the sturdy build quality, beautiful finish and accents, satisfying noises to the packaging, extras and overall design language.Beyond just looks though this machine is great. Firstly and obviously - this machine is battery powered, so you can have it with you on the go or even just keep it at home, and you won't have to worry about always running a mains wire for operation, only having to occasionally charge via type-C (and the machine does warn you when it is running low on energy with a yellow and red light) making this extremely convenient.Using the machine is extremely easy, with a ring at the top allowing you to choose how fine/coarse the coffee grounds will be (there is a guide on the top cover to help you decide), pour your beans and just press the power button - the machine will turn off when it is done grinding your beans. The machine is generally very quiet, much less audible than a traditional grinder. At the end of it you have adequately ground beans based on your needs in the bottom container which can be unscrewed from the base.Cleaning the machine afterwards is as simple as just using the included brush and blower to get all of the grounds off (do not use water or god forbid a dishwasher, as multiple warnings on the machine state). Now, the elephant in the room - the price. At the time of writing, this grinder is priced at £190, which is a staggering amount of money for a grinder.I am in two minds about this - from build quality to performance this product is great, definitely warranting a higher price, however at multiple times the cost of all other competitors this makes it a much tougher sell.Overall though, this is definitely a buy once cry once type of product. It is top-notch, which sadly carries a similar top-notch price.

Chuffed.
I confess my eyebrow raised when I saw a coffee grinder for the princely sum of £189.99 (price correct at time of writing) but having had the chance to test and review this 'Fino Portable Electric Coffee Grinder' from brand "Outln" I can say once and for all, with complete confidence that this is in fact a very high quality piece of kit. I don't like to 100% say "This item is worth X pounds" because oftentimes value is in the eye of the beholder, but one thing I can say is that I would be very surprised if anyone was disappointed in the material or build quality of this coffee grinder. It is a very well-made and effective bit of kit.The machine comes with an instruction booklet, a brush/blower cleaning tool, a suede-like bag for storage (not 100% certain if it is suede but it is a soft and thick fabric), a USB charging cable and a dosing funnel. The instructions are explained well in the booklet and recommendations are given. It's actually very simple and intuitive to use though and perhaps most impressively of all - it is quiet, much quieter than any previous (and much cheaper) grinder(s) that I have owned before. Getting used to the machine I have been using it on setting number 6 and it is great so far. Although having said that I am considering experimenting with setting it to 5 as this makes the grind that bit finer.Your coffee beans go into the top of the machine. They go through the internal cylinder and come out into the pot below on the underside. The pot is held in place magnetically and as such stays in place safely and securely. You can also store any leftovers for next usage.Overall I'm very impressed by the unit. It is quite slimline in size and in my personal circumstance fits nicely next to my coffee maker. Last but not least I think it is an aesthetically pleasing matte black colour that has an understated elegance to it. I'm happy, as I have said. It's a very, very good coffee grinder and I've no hesitation to give it anything other than five stars. As for the 190 pound question "is it worth it?" I'm afraid that one's up to you and yours to decide...
