Q: No built-in Protection?

Q: Can you charge the power bank itself while it is outputting/charging devices?

I just received this today and the instructions say not to charge the power bank while using the power bank to charge other devices. I tried to charge my phone with the power bank while the power bank was charging and it won't let you do both. It defaults to charging the power bank and stops charging the phone.

Q: How do you turn it off when you're not using it?

You can double-click the small button on the side. It will also turn off the small LED screen after a few minutes automatically.

Q: Does start charging when I plug something or do I have to press the button?

The button is more of a restart button if anything cause of overcharging protection it shuts off when your battery is charged so you'd need to push the button to get it to start charging again if you leave the device on the charger to long. It's also the battery indicator botton
