Okay product
As a music lover, i am giving this review after 1 year. Now i am learning tabla in 2nd year. For this product, baayaan is of 2.5 kg only so sound little bit low but for the daayaan sound is good and my teachers said it is of good quality

its an amazing set of tablas I got, real value for the money
The quality of the product, the sound, every thing is just too good. its really worth the price. came in a good state, very nicely packed, and even the bag which came with it is of top quality. It is a pleasure to have these.

Wood Cracked in just 1 month of purchase and in 2 months 4 cracks are there overall
The wood of the dayan got cracked in just one month of purchase and 4 cracks overall in 2 months time. Highly disappointed! Also as of today this is appearing as Amazon's choice. Amazon, you need to review your choices, as this kind of quality is not expected from you or the seller for this price!

Great Tabla!
This is my first Tabla set and I was apprehensive about going with SSS brand. But all my doubts were dispelled once the tabla set arrived. Firstly it was packaged very well - the bag and the additional packing around it prevented any nicks/cracks during transit. Secondly, the added goodies like the bag, gaddis and tabla cover are very well thought of and help in stowing the set properly after usage. Finally, the tabla, both the dayan and bayan, sound awesome. I'm learning off youtube and able to pick up and execute the bols effortlessly. Much recommended!

Overall the set is good.
Overall the set is good. But the syahi can be thicker, it's not up to the mark, it doesn't make enough sound. The Dagga does look like brass but the weight is quite less. The vadi quality is decent. There should be an option to take input from the buyer for such product at least to some extent - for example, how thick the syahi should be etc.
