Toilet Seat Elongated Superior BR644-00, White, Slow Closing, Stain Resistant Polypropylene, Comfortable Toilet Seat

This is the second one of these I’ve bought, and for good reason. I got the first one two years ago, It’s held up and still works perfectly. They’re a breeze to install, very solid, and amazingly easy to remove for cleaning. Being able to push the lid/seat closed without damaging the slow-closing mechanism is a real plus. It has gotten a lot pricier in the past couple of years, but is still well worth it.

Like most people, I never thought I'd write a review on a toilet seat but I'm so glad I spent the money on this one. It came with clear instructions and was easy to install. Removing the lid to clean it is totally simple (the seat sits on two 2-3" dowel-like posts that are made of metal; when both the seat and the lid are resting against the tank, the holes within the seat & lid align and you simply pull it off....then place it back on the dowels when done).As described, both the seat and the lid have the slow-close mechanism. The seat is securely held in place, it looks nice, and is comfortable. One unexpected benefit is that my sciatica doesn't bother me when I'm using this seat! My previous seat would pull my sciatic nerve, making it painful to sit. So overall, totally amazed at how much I like it!!

This is a very well made, comfortable, solid seat. It was easy to install. The slow close mechanism worked smoothly. Unfortunately, my toilet is made by Sterling and has very little clearance between the tank and the mounting holes, so the seat doesn't have enough room to stay up on its own. The lid stays up but not the seat. However, according to the manufacturer, most other toilets have more room and the seat should fit fine.I've given this seat 5 stars because it is a high quality seat and the manufacturer has outstanding customer service. Mark helped me find the model that will work with a Sterling toilet, BR237 Elongated Master Suite. This one is more adjustable than the BR644 and it works fine with my toilet.

My expectations were high when I ordered this seat. I'm not disappointed, but I'm not thrilled either. The installation is fairly simple, but aligning the rods into our existing bolt holes was a bit tricky. It requires perfect alignment to make the easy-on, easy-off feature work smoothly.I didn't anticipate all the contours and indentations on the underside of the seat, so navigating in and around the contours and the four bumpers when cleaning also takes more attention than what wiping down the level surface of the wood seat we previously had involved. Finally, the roller mechanism that connects the seat to the bowl contains seams for a nightlight that we have not bothered to activate. For a seat that claims to be easy to clean, these seams are a hiding place for bacteria.Overall, the seat is sturdy, the slow-close features operates flawlessly, the seat has a nice appearance, and it fits well.

We have a Toto toilet with an elongated bowl which requires a top-mount toilet seat. For this reason, I also had to order the Bath Royale Seat Mounting hardware. I watched the online installation video so I found the instructions very easy to follow. After unscrewing the bolts and easily prying out the rubber inserts that originally came with the toilet, I slipped the seat mounting hardware into the holes. I carefully lined up the toilet seat and, as suggested, I sat on the seat to hold it in place while I screwed in the bolts.The toilet seat is a fantastic upgrade to our old, yellowing seat. The soft-close mechanism works flawlessly and we do not have the problem of the seat starting to close immediately after being lifted. I would highly recommend this product and plan to purchase another one for our master bathroom when an upgrade is needed.Update: The toilet seat started slipping after several months so I had to tighten the screws numerous times. At one point, I could no longer tighten the screws and I thought I had stripped them. I called the customer service phone number and the phone was picked up on the second ring by a REAL PERSON. Mark listened to the description of my problem and. although he was surprised that this had happened, he gladly sent me out another set of the mounting hardware. I reinstalled the toilet seat easily, following his advice to thoroughly clean the top of the toilet bowl with Windex before installing the mounts. I hope this extra attention to detail on my part will result in a more solid installation. I really appreciated the personal attention from Customer Service.
