ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Coding Handbook, with Answers, 2019

I am teaching myself Medical Coding AND Billing. Once I've completed the 3 workbooks and quick study guide I am completing the certification test then finally seek employment!

Great condition and came a day or 2 early.

It has a lot of helpful information however, the answers are next to the exercises which, I find to be irritating!I wish the exercises would be within the chapter (currently how it is done) but then and answer key be in the back of the book for all of the exercises!

I was pleasantly pleased on the format set-up of this book, the realistic chapter coding examples with an easier approach to understand the though-processes of coding dilemmas.

As a new coder, I find this helpful as a reference, in addition to the exercises themselves. My experienced colleagues often refer to their cooies regularly too.

This book has been far more helpful in understanding the coding process then even the materials published by the end organization that does the testing.

I used this while learning coding and it seemed to help significantly in connecting pieces together for me
