Q: If i want to replant this, what planting medium do you use? and are those sundew moss the same as the sundew carnivorous plant? thanks

Those are the carnivorous sundews. You'll want a peat and perlite or peat and sand mix. For the violet, go with something similar to African violet mix soil, but make sure it can drain well.

Q: Has anyone not had an issue with mold? I see its common and my guess would be the nutrient gel is not sterile as advertised.

I have two and have not experienced problems wi contamination. I haven broken the seal on the jars.

Q: Are there replacement plants for when the plant dies...description says the plant last about a year?

I don't know I just stared with this seller. I am hoping for the best it will last a year. I look at mine every day and it is doing fine.

The violets are only guaranteed for 6 months the yellow orchid is guaranteed for a year. So far I am following the instructions that came with it and my plant has a bunch of new blooms. Also instructions indicate not to open it at all . Self watering, keep out of the sun
