EXCELLENT QUALITY

Excellent for those of us with DSLR cameras and lots of 52mm filters. Now I can use those same filters in this holder, with my phone. The star filter itself is a standard 8 point, good optical glass. Comes double cased, so it's easy enough to slip into a backpack or even my purse. The clip itself is a bit bulky by nature, as is needed. It does work on my case - barely. It certainly works better if I take my iPhone 16 pro out of it's case and clip the filter on at that point. Star filters work best with strong light sources aka high contrast lighting. So sunrise/sets, sparkling water at dusk, candle flames, dock lights at dusk, even doing portraits with shiny jewelry depending on how you light the subject. My other filters (ND, etc.) of the same mm easily fit into the holder. It's been fun experimenting. I have a new motorola phone and this fits that as well. If you are new to using camera filters - you'll want to google how best to use star filters creatively.

I absolutely love this phone adapter that came with the star filter but the main reason I got this is because the adapter is a 52 mm and I have tons of 52 mm filters because I've been doing photography for almost 10 years now maybe even longer. I have a pretty decent phone camera with the current phone that I'm using and sometimes on the go I like to snap pictures and being able to swap out filters on it is just absolutely amazing. I have everything from ND filters, cpl, colored filters and more that I can swap out onto this filter adapter and use them on my phone and this thing really fits the bill and gives me top notch effects for when I can't have my very good camera or DSLR. Overall for the price point and paid I think it's 100% worth it it's going to last for a very long time if it's my phone perfect

This little clip on iPhone device adds gorgeous stars to any light source that you shoot. It makes for some very interesting unique looking photos. It fits my iPhone 16 Pro perfectly and I can use any one of the three cameras with it without having to adjust where it attaches. It doesn't degrade the image quality at all, and comes with a great little carrying case if you have the right size lenses, it also screws on to lenses for a regular camera. Great deal for a really well built attachment.

I’ve only had a chance to use this star filter once so far, but from that brief test, it seems to do what it promises. The starburst effect adds a nice touch to night photography, especially with bright lights. It’s easy to attach with the clip, and the 52mm rotatable design lets you adjust the effect to your liking. Since I’ve only used it once, I’ll need more time to fully evaluate how well it performs in different lighting conditions and with various phone cameras. But first impressions are positive—it’s a fun little accessory for adding some extra flair to night shots.

I liked the packaging right out of the box; it comes in a hard case with a microfibre cloth. The lens and adapter are built well, with excellent machine work and finishing. Installation is simple, just clip it to your phone. The optics are excellent, no blurring or discolouration with minimal distortion. Although, the star effect requires quite a bit of light to refract. I assume it's practical use is mid-day lighting, alternatively, other extreme contrast scenes with bright lights and darker backgrounds.

Wow, this is amazing and so easy to use. Some of the features that I love about this filter are: - it comes with its own zippered hard case that protects the filter - the filter itself is in a hard plastic case that fits into the zippered hard case - comes with a lens cleaning cloth - it is compatible across a wide range of smart devices as the lens screws securely into the clip that is clipped onto the phone - the lens clip has curved edges to prevent any light from getting between the filter and the camera lens - it is made from premium optical glass that prevents any distortion If you look closely at the lens filter you can see a grid pattern that creates the 8 point star. It is very easy to adjust the clip to have the filter stretch the light to your preferences. It is great at night where there is light, as well as during the day. I have found that there is not effect when used where there are soft diffused light (for example a light). It is very effective where the light is concentrated. I have had the opportunity to take some really great night shots and I am very, very pleased and excited to have this filter. It is also has great versatility at 52mm and can be used on a camera. The great and wonderful thing about this is that other filters of this size are also compatible with this clip. Excellent product and well worth the price and more.

I appreciate that so much care and attention went into not only producing a durable and solid filter, but that it is protected in a container within a quality made, protective zippered case. Whether you are considering this for your smartphone or camera, or both, this set is highly recommended.

This is a pretty cool star filter. It does create an interesting 8-point star effect around lights in photos. Great if you're looking for this specific effects for photography or videography. If you have a case on your phone, I suggest you remove it before use as it can prevent the lens from laying on the camera properly. I also found that the camera struggled to auto-focus with the lens on, but this can be avoided by using manual focus. The lens comes with a good quality carrying case, and it feels well made with good materials. I'm pleased with it.
