Works like new. Great resolution just like the original screen with no dead pixels. Keep in mind that this screen does not come with the touch screen digitizer board. The board has to be removed from the old screen and attached with adhesive to the new screen. The touch screen did not work at first. I thought I needed a new digitizer board, but turns out it was my fault . . . I had not full inserted one of the ribbon cables into the left side of the digitizer board. Everything works great now, touch screen and all. Of note, an easy way to tell if the lack of touch screen function is a Windows software / driver issue versus a hardware issue is to boot into the UEFI screen. If the touch screen works there, it is a Windows software / driver issue; if it does not work in UEFI, it is a hardware issue. In my case it was just the plug not being inserted in far enough. I will mention that the double sided adhesive tape, that mentioned in the listing as a "gift", was not in the box. The label on the outside of the box also denotes "with adhesive". Someone forgot to include it. I considered taking away a Star for this, but it has nothing to do with the function of the screen so I proceeded to leave 5 Stars. I had not planned to use the adhesive anyway, so it was not a big deal for me. After replacing a few iPad screens, I have found B-7000 adhesive inexpensive and much more efficient to work with than double sided tape. I apply plastic spring clamps overnight with excellent adhesion.

The screen worked well for the surface pro 4 too, but you have to buy a cable to adapt this screen for SP4. The first screen had some deadzones issues but the return and replacement process was easy. It came with the adhesives that works for surface pro 4 or 5. The second replacement screen has been working well so far.

It’s identical to the original and the color is amazing. Was well packaged and installed perfectly. You do have to transfer the original digitizer control board but that’s not hard to do. If you can handle getting to the point of needing this you have more than enough skill to swap it over. Would like to see the adhesive strips included but it’s a great value either way. The touch screen works just like the original and feels great when using. Update. So the touch screen is failing now. I no longer recommend this screen. Support phone number is no good. Won’t answer emails. Avoid.

Works great to replace a screen on the Microsoft Surface pro 4. Just remember to buy the adapter cable others recommend. I bought this one and it works fine: ZAHARA Pro4 to 5 LCD & Touch Screen Digitizer Display Connector Flex Cable Ribbon Replacement for Microsoft Surface Pro 4 1724 M1010537-003 ZVFE668. Be careful reconnecting cables. I had not pushed them in all the way and I thought I had messed it up. But I was able to push them in further and it worked. Also, if you haven't ever tried removing the screen, you will break it unless you apply the proper heat in the proper area and go REALLY SLOW with the right tool ... And even then, you will probably break the screen. So it is good these are still sold.

Got it today to replace the shattered screen on my Surface Pro 6. I installed it myself and it fits and functions perfectly! I was quoted as much as $330 for a shop to install it! WARNING: The glass is incredibly thin; use extreme caution!

Ordered to replace a cracked screen. I didn't need any of the additional parts, so I opted for this one. First unit came badly scratched. Amazon exchanged it for a new one. Second unit didn't work. touch did not work in bottom left corner, persistently held in right middle. not an issue with scratched or cracked screen, but I attempted to troubleshoot anyways. even went so far as to reach out to vendor directly. No response after five days. Returning this and will attempt to get one from a different vendor. Of note: This does not come with the adhesive that it claims is included.

Great screen but it is bare bones. Comes with no ribbons, tools, or adhesive. Make sure U have what U need I bought precut stickers for like $8. Figured that was much better than using glue. Make sure you prefit your screen and turn it in before adhering it. I had a lose ribbon and wld not have been happy if I glues screen before that was fixed.

This item looks like it was removed from a previous Surface, but the price was right and when I was done, it functions just fine. The four star rating was because it is listed as new, but arrived in a condition that looks like someone sent it back to them after they tried it. It was missing the extras they said would come with it. I just bought some of that Chinese 5000 industrial rubber cement and put it back together just fine. Bottom line is it worked, it was relatively inexpensive, and my daughter is happy, so I am happy. Be very careful using a heat guy to open a Surface. It's easy to melt the case, burn yourself, and short the battery.
