Great product. For best and fast results place a pitcher of water in the refrigerator overnight and the ice cubes will be made faster. Worth all the money!!!!!!!!

Makes nuggets (choice of small or larger) in about 6-7 minutes per round and isn’t overly loud like my last one was. This has been used about twice a week since getting it and no issues. The plug is easy to pop out and put back in and so far seals perfectly.I appreciate the cleaning feature although I haven’t had to use that yet. This has worked smoothly every time we use it.This isn’t going to keep your ice nuggets from melting in the maker so once it’s full (alerts you as such) I just add that ice to my little freezer ice container with lid that I have. One full to the fill line of water ran completely through until all water is used fills my 8.5” long x 7.4” wide x 6.6” tall ice container nicely and we're set for 3-5 days. We use ice daily to some extent (two in the household) so this size works fine for us. I wouldn’t have freezer room for any larger of a container to hold more ice anyways so I’m ok with the size of this.The ice scoop is a good size but we don’t really end up using it. It’s a nice addition though and may come in handy for other purposes.While storing I put a 4 slice toaster cover over it to protect it a bit from dust. It almost goes all the way to the bottom so good enough for me.Really no complaints. It’s been great for us thus far and is so much better than finding room for several ice trays in my freezer to accommodate the amount of ice this makes. Plus this is way quicker.

I got this for a basement bar. I followed the instructions and ran 4 or 5 cycles through that I then discarded. It is in the bar and ready to go.It makes a small batch of ice pretty quickly. It keeps doing this until the reservoir is empty. It cycles well and there are not a bunch of steps to go through or buttons to push. The only option is to choose the size of the cubes you want. The cubes are of the hollow cylinder type. Personally, that's not my favorite for bourbon, but considering I don't have any other ice in my basement, this product works fine.The reservoir is also where the ice "storage" is. So, definitely make sure you adhere to the max fill line. One time I over did it and my ice was floating around in the reservoir water. Not a big deal, but the machine is not insulated, so this quickens the melting process. Speaking of which, no, there is no insulation, or at least none to speak of, so the ice will start melting. This should be expected, don't get me wrong. Just plan for it. The melting ice will continue to be recycled into the next batch, so you'll keep getting ice.I didn't really have any major complaints. It wasn't blazing fast, but there were enough cubes for a couple of drinks in about 10 minutes. If you continue to fill it, you'll have good ample ice for most small get togethers. This will not produce ice for big parties or large groups. If you realize this and keep your expectation reasonable, this will work fine.I'll update if there are any longevity issues, but I would recommend.
