Skull Shaver - Palm MX5 Head and face Shaver - Smooth Shave

Having tried a few other branded head shavers, I decided to bite the bullet and fork out the cash to try this one!Obliviously Skull Shaver is one of the well known brands for head shaving, and I must say although this particular product is at the cheaper end of the Skull Shaver spectrum, it's still is a mighty shaver! The Palm Pro MX5 is excellent. I have used this twice so far and am impressed, it gives a nice smooth head shave without irritation. ergonomics are well designed, with finger grooves on the main body which really help with control. It's easy to clean, as the four rotary bladeunit can be removed. It comes with a USB lead, a UK plug, cleaning brush and small bottle of blade lubricating oil, instructions, and can be used wet or dry. Build quality seems robust. It's great!

First time using this and was so easy to use. I used a wet shave on my head as instructed in manual for the first few uses. Fits easily into your palm. Would definitely recommend

The shaver is just what I expected it to look like.however I cannot rate it's usability quality in terms of comfort and battery life because I bought it for a friend as a gift and can only wait for his feedback .Overall , I think it is compact, and appealing

The weight is perfectly ballanced through the shaver and the indentations for your fingers either side of the head give a good firm grasp whilst leaving your hand free to manoeuvre any which way needed.Battery life seems good for now, ive charged it ten - eleven times and with regular shaving twice a week it easily lasts the week. My hair is quite thick in places but doesnt seem to struggle, although it doesnt get that long before I shave it.The one gripe is dissassembling the shaver head foir cleaning thoroughly can be a bit laborious getting all the small pieces back in place, but its been designed in a way that a simpleton could do it, just a bit awkward at times.Overall its a blinding shaver for the money, well worth it from my experience.

Bought for husband and he uses it all the time. Very quick and easy to charge up and use and does a great job. Never quite as close a shave as a manual razor but as good as any electric one. Just be careful as it breaks quite easily if you drop it on a hard surface!

A perfectly serviceable head shaver that is easy to use but is a bit on the small/weak side and the individual shaver heads have a tendency to fall to pieces when you take the head off to clean. I bought a remington RX7 and have been much more impressed with that.

After trying a number of similar cheaper versions of bald head shavers I wanted to buy something that was of a higher quality and would last. Anyone who is looking into buying this kind of shaver will be aware of the Skull Shaver range. These can be much more expensive but I can now see why they have the cutting edge (couldn’t resist) when it comes to this type of razor. This particular model is the kind of entry level shaver but feels good, it has a good weight and shaves well. I must admit that although it is designed for you to put your fingers under the bigger part of the razor and closer to the shaver head I didn’t find was great and didn’t have the same control I had when holding it from the top. This is extremely easy to clean as it just requires a brush and a good rinse under the tap. Make sure you let it air dry completely before reassembly.So, paying a few extra quid for a trusted brand is worth it.
