Apple MacBook Pro 15in Core i7 2.8GHz Retina (MGXG2LL/A), 16GB RAM, 512GB Solid State Drive (Renewed)

This model was received on time and sturdily packed. Got online quickly, software was already updated. This is my second Apple MacBook Pro from 2015" with their 15 inch screen. My first MBP was refurbishhed and purchased in 2019. After six good years, the batteries were bloated and the speakers blew out as well in April 2025. Apple would repaire for $750, but I got an identical laptop thoroughly refubished for half that price ($340) through Amazon. A used Apple 15" MacBook Air M3 has similar performance to the 2015 MBP, for $800. I am familiar with the operation of the MBP, and I am in my 70's. I do not need the new challenges. I do love my Liquid Retina screens!

Contacted about display flickering issues and a just resolution, whether replacement or refund a number of times before warranty windows closed. Have been told I will not be helped because windows for that has closed. My contact about unsatisfactory product went unanswered. I'm surprised as I have always trusted Amazon for help in past.

Computer has worked just as expected with no issues.

The media could not be loaded. The laptop works great so far after setup, is very fast and only a few minor scrapes on the top and half a dozen on the bottom which I'll never look at anyway. This is a great value for someone wanting a MacBook Pro with a Chromebook budget, I would definitely buy from them again if my wife or kids ever need a laptop.There is already a warning about the battery capacity.. but hopefully nothing that causes issues in the immediate future.My only other complaint was the laptop was shipped with a small layer of bubble wrap and no additional packing for protection. The charger and laptop were loose in a box that was 2" tall with no fragile warning, but everything showed up working great so it's hard to complain it wasn't sufficient enough.

I bought my son a apple computer off of Amazon in August. The first 3 days it worked. My son noticed it was getting hot. The next day computer wouldn't come on. I contacted the seller he tells me it's just a bad charger and sent another one. It works for about a month then stopped again. I contact the seller and nothing. So I call Amazon customer service and they tell me they will reach out to seller and they had a week to get back to me. The week goes by and seller of course don't get back to them so I call Amazon back they say that Amazon has denied my a to z guarantee for my refund that I can appeal the claim. So now I'm stuck with a 600 dollar broken computer that my son can't use. This was the first time I have used Amazon to buy anything and now with this I will never use Amazon again.

No scratches at all, arrived in good condition. Great size and weight looking fwd to years of use
