LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer Adapter

The adapter really is a must have for the clickstart. You can use batteries, but it takes four at a time, and it's really not worth the hassle. I bought the cheapest batteries I could find, and it still cost me two bucks. I only did that because Walmart didn't have the adapter avail and I didn't want to make my child wait a week for this to ship. Keep in mind, the keyboard still requires batteries and doesn't have the option for an adapter, but that uses less power. I'll just use rechargables for it. So, I figure w/in a month, the adapter will pay for itself.

If you have the Zippity game system from leapfrog then you need this. The wall unit uses 4 "C" size batteries. My son constantly leaves the game system on and it can dran the batteries in under a week. 4 batteries = $5, you do the math.

I read previous reviews before purchasing this product and it really helped. If your child likes the LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer like my son does, then it is imperative that you purchase this adapter. It really saves on the batteries. My 3yr old son really enjoys his first computer and can't wait to get on his computer each day.

I'm sure the adapter is fine. My only problem is the posting for the My First Computer didn't say it included this adapter so I ordered it in case it was needed. It turns out the computer came with one so I didn't need this after all. When I tried to return it, I was given instruction online that basically said I have to ship it back and cover the costs associated. The shipping would cost just as much as the refund so now I have something I don't even need.

A must have! My 2 1/2 year old plays with his ClickStart all the time. Batteries were becoming a habit to buy. I think I paid around $10.00 with Amazon and received free shipping. Thank goodness for this computer adapter, wish more adapters were made for toys. Thanks to Amazon, I am always pricing checking for the best deals through them first and to see if that item applies to free shipping.

Totally worth it, or you end up paying lots in replacement batteries instead. We have both the Leapfrog Clickstart system and Leapfrog Zippity -- this AC adaptor works perfect with both! Highly recommended for either system, as they both drain batteries quickly with regular play.
