Works but definitely used
(Since there's multiple on this listing, my seller is StratiTech Inc. and applies to the product purchased through them)Doesn't bother me in the least that its been used. The relief from this unending heat makes it worth it. It is mildly concerning as the gills are slightly beat up at the bottom and the mesh filter is clearly a little dusty from previous use, however given it's working fine and how easy it is to just realign the gills & wash the filter this isn't a major problem.I live in a very small one bedroom flat and within around 15~ minutes the room was notably colder (closed door to bedroom to test different, opened it after and it still handled the additional space absolutely fine.) It is definitely not the strongest AC unit - I had a previous one that had a much higher air output but as a result it isn't nearly as intrusive volume wise. For the specified room size It works perfectly upon unpacking. Its pretty heavy however and the handholds are small making it a little difficult if you have to put it on a box like myself in order for the tube to reach the window. Rolling it around is easy on wheels however so unless you have to lift it this shouldn't be an issue.Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Ok
Bought in March ready for summer as last year was unbearable for me. Definitely cools the room but the noise is loud ish .. downside yes but I’m prepared to put up with it for a cool nights sleep. Buy ear plugs if a light sleeper. Definitely recommend though. Took star off for noise quality..

Lighter than most
Only strong enough for a smallish room with the door closed, but you can at least lift it in necessary without breaking your back.

A useful maintenance tip
Just a little tip for anyone that has one of these. We bought one around 3yrs ago, all good until the later part of summer 2022 when it didn't seem to be chilling properly,. it would chill for a few minutes and then just blow air at ambient temperature. I could hear the compressor turning off. I cleaned the removable filter at the rear, checked all the drains etc, no apparent issues. When I had a closer look with a torch there is another radiator at the rear lower half of unit which was clogged up with dust. There is no removable cover but I managed to remove the outer covers of the unit once it was unplugged. See picture for the dust build partially cleaned. The unit works fine now. I did also cleaned the same radiator on a second unit we have without any dismantling. I used a clean soft longish bristle brush (I used a paintbrush) thru the slats and a vacuum cleaner. I was able to clear most of the dust after which the unit worked fine.

Not the best
I've had this Unit for about 3 years now.....just about to buy another make for room needed.. this one is far too loud. Have 3 different makes of AC unit in house... one very large one had over 15 years and this unit is small yes, lighter yes.....but so loud! Also why does it say 2 settings? Thats not for AC just has the one loud and full breeze. Does have fan thing that moves on remote, but doesn't do a lot to be honest, our other AC units have 3 settings low to high and thats good thing to have on unit, this one doesn't have that, only one in stock at time of buying, wouldn't but again....even in small room, does cool it down fine, but it does get hot at front, lots of water comes out of it too and when you turn off you'll see how loud it is on the ears...get one with night mode this isn't any good for night use, unless ya going deaf or will be when morning comes lol

Brilliant
This unit is fantastic but make sure you are able to either drill a big hole in your wall for the hose to go through or buy a kit which I got for a tenner at Argos which allows you to feed it though the window and block off the gaps so the hot air doesn’t come back in.It’s a great air con. Our living room isn’t big; probably 20ft by 15ft and it cools in no time. If you want to use it as a fan instead of air con then no worries. I remove the hose and put it on cool which is also really nice. It also works as a dehumidifier. In fan mode it’s not really any noisier than a big fan unit.In aircon mode it’s got two settings low fan and high fan. In low fan you can hold a conversation and watch tv with volume up a little louder. In high fan air con mode you have to talk a lot louder and would find it hard watching TV with it on. It’s not deafening. It just prevents you from chilling out! No pun intended. With a heatwave arriving tomorrow I thought it was best to grab this quick because I’m not sitting in 35 degree heat in my living room that reaches 45. It’s too much! Glad I acted quick. :).So I highly recommend this air con unit.
