Hankook Tea Lotus Leaf Tisane, 0.71 Ounce

Wow! This tea is so beautiful in color. Hot/warm its very smooth and good. Being a busy mom, I accidentally let it get cold, and it turned out to be amazing cold. Its like it enhanced its flavor in the best ways. It will make an excellent unsweetened iced tea. Its how I will prepare it from now on. So good.

TLDR: (5) stars for taste, (1-2) star for high price! I wanted to try this as I have recently purchased tea infusers and while the taste is great, there is not a lot of product in these small cylinders...I almost feel it is highway robbery! Previously I had bought two different Korean mulberry that come in tea bags and they were around the $10 mark for 40 tea bags. I think the taste with those is not as good but for the price, I think those are better buys.

This Mulberry Leaf Tisane is, simply put, just perfection. It tastes so smooth and has a light natural sweetness that rivals some of the best flavored teas that I've tried. Hankook Tea has a wonderful selection of herbal tisanes and the Mulberry is my favorite, but the Persimmon is a close runner-up. This Tisane is perfect for late nights when you want a nice hot glass of flavorful tea but don't want the caffeine that comes with it. I already bought a larger size because I know I will be going through this quickly!

I bought this I am pregnant so I can not drink other caffeinated teas. I learned about this tea from South Korea, this is known to calm the drinker. I think ot is a good substitute for caffeinated drinks if you are not able to drink caffeine. Beware the taste is very subtle compared to other well-known teas.

Has a mild taste. I’m not sure how to describe it, but maybe an off-green tea flavor? It’s nice to have a cup after work and not get jittery from caffeine. If nothing else, it’s certainly worth trying out.
