So I bought this set a while back and it worked great for a few months. Then when I had left it out on the sink (it was not wet) overnight once; it had rust on it the next day. I contacted the company since it says "Lifetime money back guarantee" and the told me that the refund is only through amazon, which clearly is not stated on the item description; so that's complete false advertising. I was at least able to get a replacement for free but after a month of getting a new one; even while keeping it in the sheath, it has started to rust. So definitely not stainless steel as advertised. Complete low quality product so don't buy it. Just went for it and got a DOVOS. Thrown out. Don't buy.

I spent quite some time researching straight razors. Normally I don't lend a lot of credence to negative reviews or overly positive ones. However, in this case I liked the product presentation and the positive comments. The negative comments I didn't ignore but I was willing to take the chance. An expensive chance! When I placed the original order, I noted that the picture of the product I asked was different than what I ordered. I was assured that I would get the one I ordered despite the picture. I did get the product that I ordered...or so I thought. A couple of things bothered me. One, the blade brand name was not on the blade but on the shank. Part of the selling point for me was that look. Disappointing. But the real problem was that the blade was not sharp out of the box as advertised. I tried the blade on my forearm hair...didn't cut one hair! I wet my arm hair and tried again....no hair was cut! I attempted to sharpen the blade by stroping. Twenty five strokes each way. Same result. Shaving with a straight razor is something that I really want to do. I actually ordered a much less expensive razor before I ordered this kit. However it was already shipped so I couldn't cancel the order. My intent was to return the less expensive blade once I received your product. I must admit that I was sold on your presentation, reviews and video. It looks good. I'm not one to give up and I'm willing to give the company another chance to field the product they advertised. I spent a lot of money on this blade and I am still a fan of the straight razor. I would like for you to stand behind your product and make this right. I would like a sharp blade and a blade with the Naked Armor brand on the blade as advertised. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

I love this straight razor kit! I did shave with it and it does shave well. The kit comes with a strop and I did strop it first. It did easily shave hair off my arm prior to even stropping, if that means anything.The build quality is better than I expected. The blade centers perfectly in the handle and is polished to a high shine.The fit and finish of the handle to the frame is very good. The wood is handsome and well fitted and the copper-gold end caps nicely done. You might need to shine them up with some polish. It comes with a ton of oil on it to protect the blade.The wooden box is absolutely amazing. I don't think I have seen another example of such a quality storage being supplied with the original purchase.The razor has good weight, feel and balance. Overall this is really a very nice razor and I would buy it again for sure.

First time user of straight blade, a bit nervous at first but now I’m getting the hang of it and I absolutely dig it, the cut is surprisingly close for a single blade, I doubt I will ever go back to a multi blade shaver.

I'm an older man. I have never been shaved with a straight razor. If you are in my category I definitely recommend watching how to shave videos before using. This razor is RAZOR SHARP😊. Throw away razors are getting much to expensive. I had this razor four days before I got nerves to try it. In time I'll get better at it. I can attest you will get that baby bottom feel. Another reason I recommend this product is it has a lifetime warranty. If you have a son, t would be great to pass on to him.

Awesome shave experience did have some learning curve to it that's why I bought a book to teach you how to properly use a straight razor. I am 48 and wish I would have been using this since I started shaving.

Everything about this is awesome. The box, the soap, the brush, the blade. Really couldnt be any better.Note, the straight razor is a longer than i have used previously (potentially had a small straight razor prior). This may be cumbersome when messing with beard or neck lines. Overall though, absolutely love this.

This is an awesome kit. Comes with everything you need to get started. Naked armor is a great company to deal with. I bought a kit a few weeks ago and it came in looking just like the picture. The razor however was not shave ready like in the description. I wrote naked armor and spoke to Derek. What an awesome guy. He responded pretty quickly and addressed my concern. A few days later I had a new razor in the the mail. That was shave ready and it did a great job. Thanks again Derek and naked armor.
