I have had many speakers, two have been older model JBL speakers. This one is by far my favorite! Sits on my desk perfectly. Packs in my bag easily. The sounds is well balanced and the app helps as well. I can take it down stairs and it fills the whole floor without it needing to be too loud. I can play shows on on my phone and the sound is full and doesn't fall flat like others. I also like the way it looks, its a clean looking speaker that is built well. The strap/clip buckle mechanism is nice too, I like using the strap has a finger loop to carry it around but its nice to able to clip to my bag if I need to.

I’ve been using this JBL Flip speaker for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is excellent—loud, clear, and surprisingly full for a portable speaker. It connects to my phone almost instantly with no issues, and it’s been super reliable every time I’ve used it. The battery life has also been great. I’ve used it for long sessions and it always lasts longer than I expect. The build quality feels very durable and tough, so I’m confident it will hold up well over time even with regular use. Bottom line: if you want a portable speaker with great sound, easy Bluetooth connection, long battery life, and a sturdy design, this is an awesome choice.

I'm in love with my pink JBL. Not only is it so cute and visibly appealing, but It's easy to set up and use, and I also have the JBL app which is helpful. The sound quality is amazing. The speaker is lightweight and easy to bring around. It is also waterproof, which made this speaker perfect poolside or at the beach.

Amazing little speaker, JBL quality. Plug and play. I was surprised that the charging cable didn't come with the speaker, but they're cheap enough. The sound is great for this lil' compact unit. Could fit in a medium size purse. Appears very sturdy. Great buy for the money. Sound is great for the size. Paired right up with my phone.

Wow!! Upgrading from the Flip 4 to the 7. JBL has always delivered some of the best quality speakers in the market and this is no different. I played them both at the same time and the 7 has such a deep base and crisp sound, even at the higher volume. Great value as always and not that bulky. About the same size as the 4 but maybe a little heavier. Looks super cool also (rugged)! Took about 3 seconds to set up and was compatible instantly! Downloaded the JBL app and was playing with the EQ also! Can’t wait to play it at the campground parties!

This is the perfect speaker to throw in your golf bag and keep with you for the course! The battery life is great and sound quality is good for it's size. Easy to tuck in any bag and go!

We would give the Flip 7 4.5 stars if we could. There is just a bit of room for improvement in sound quality. Using the JBL Portable app's 7 band equalizer brings even that up a notch. Tone is noticeable cleaner on the 7 than it was from our Flip 5, and we were pretty happy with that, both punch well above their weight. We expect the Flip 7 will be every bit as durable as the Flip 5 was. My reaction to an 8 hours hold time for re-booking a cancelled trip with Alaska when they had their IT outage likely took years off the Flip 5's life. It bounced a good foot above the oak table I was sitting at when I heard that. The 5 still works but something rattled loose. It had handled many, many normal drops-even into a crick-and never missed a beat until that moment. The Flip 7 looks at least as well constructed. When looking to replace the so wantonly injured Flip 5 the JBL Fip 7 was slightly behind Bose SoundLInk Flex in the running--a little less punch but a lit finer sound would work for us but... the Flip 7s cylindrical design is near perfect for a portable speaker with power. It fits in an extra large Carhartt shirt's breast pocket. Critical for walking up and down our regular trails. A Yeti water bottle in the other breast pocket balances things out nicely. Yep both fit in standard car cup holders too. The rectangular profile of the Bose just wouldn't quite fit either (I ran a template). Always trades offs, but we are happy with our choice. The apps equalizer is really a nice touch, those settings go on units firmware and stay there until you reopen the app and reset them.

I had this thing going literally within 3 minutes of opening the box. The setup using bluetooth can't be much easier. It is plenty loud for such a small speaker, and things like the portability, resistance to water, and being cordless are just icing on the cake. What blows me away about the Flip series is the seriously high quality of music. It doesn't get much better than this, not from a single speaker, not in this price range at all, and not in such a small tight package. It can go toe to toe or better with almost anything for casual household use. This is hands-down my benchmark for audio quality, and nothing can beat it for value.
