Great raw kava. Easy going relaxation with a mild euphoria. I was introduced to Kava via Kava liquors and instants. My first time with kava root. I really enjoy this. Price is nice as well. Yes it has typical kava flavor. (To me that's wet cardboard not earthy) Flavored with a vanilla sweeter is my favorite option.

I am a kava connoisseur and this kava IS Strong. Personally its too "heady" for my liking but it did have a potent effect. Some people like it but I prefer a more social mellow kava. "Heady" in the kava world refers to a specific kavalactone chemotype that has a more "dopey" effect, not good for any physical activity. Its better for crashing out EOD or any sit down projects IMO... Its a decent value though, compared to other retailers this company gives more powder. For the same price some suppliers bags are half the fill of this one so thats cool. However the grind is still pretty chunky, definitely not a micronized powder whatsoever. In my experience too much of a powder ressembling saw dust can effect the stomach. I didnt get any nausea from this product but I only had about 2 servings for my first try. Just that one "double shot" packed a punch and had a strong effect, so the bag should last. Again, heady kava nots my favorite so I wont reorder but for some they prefer it.

Meh. I don’t see what the draw is. The product is fine for what it is.

Feels strong

The media could not be loaded. First you don’t drink kava for the taste. It has an earthy/peppery taste and is a muddy color when brewed. This traditional tea is reputed to have relaxing, stress reducing and insomnia reducing properties. It is non-alcoholic. I have found it works for me. I brew it by microwaving a glass jar of water to about 140 degrees with a few tablespoons of whole milk. Then place a mesh bag over the rim and put two heaping tablespoons of the tea powder in the bag and let it seep until cool. I massage the bag to get as much fluid out as possible before placing it in the fridge.

Something is wrong with this kava. I drink kava everyday and the brands I usually buy couldn’t get here in time so I ordered this one since it would arrive the following day and it was making me feel sick. I thought it was something else and I took a few days off from drinking kava then when I had a cup of this one I started feeling sick again. I got my order of the brand I usually use and I could drink kava like normal. I tested it one for time to be sure it was this brand and surely enough I started feeling nauseous. It could be the batch but it could also because it’s “today” kava which is the lowest quality kava. There are other brands available on Amazon that I would highly suggest over this one at the same price point. This was an extreme disappointment.
