Bosch 603104071 AdvancedMulti 18 Cordless Multifunction Tool with 18 V Lithium-Ion Battery, Green

Felt compelled to write a review of this awesome Multitool. I've owned a Bosch 240v multitool for a number of years and it's been a good tool to have around, but the old way of swapping blades and sanding discs etc with an Allan key really slows thing down. Thought I'd treat myself to this 18v cordless multitool and it's a game changer. The Starlock system is superb, so quick to change blades between wood, metal or sanding. It also lockes thd blades tight, no vibrating loose like the old system. Incredibly versatile without a mains cable and the battery lasts longer than I expected. Quick to charge also. The payments scheme through Amazon over interest free 5 months means you don't even know your paying for it as it's so little every month. All in all, I recommend this tool to everyone in the market for one. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it. 5 stars all around.

Love it. Now it’s not going to saw super quick compared to a jigsaw or similar, but it works great for awkward or unusual situations. Super great for odd jobs in plaster board of wood where access is not easy. Battery lasts well and if you are part of the 18v Bosch world this is going to suit you well. The attachments are expensive, but not overly so compared to their quality. If you want cheap don’t buy Bosch, but Bosch have never let me down yet and therefore great value for money. Highly recommended.

I purchased this for re-tiling in bathroom. All of the youtube videos say you need a removing tool. Got one of those - just in case. This tool made short work of removing grout. Couple of minutes and I was being careful. Decided to try the manual tool. What a load of tosh!! If you're happy to spend hours on the job then get the manual tool and be prepared for scratches on the tiles. Otherwise cough up the extra and get this tool. I'm a beginner diyer and was able to use tool easy, efficiently and got loads of grout removed. Just spend the extra money for this and other uses for the tool.

I ordered this as I wanted a multi tool to have available to use and I already have a number of Power4All tools that share the batteries. I decided I would buy the complete unit with charger and battery as it came with a case that the bare unit does not seem to. I notice that the battery that came with it has changed from the old battery shape and the charger is different. Old batteries seem to fit OK into the new unit and charger but the new battery does not fit into the old charger, so I have have lost some versatility. A little annoying that this doesn't seem to be pointed out and slightly defeats the purpose of the all4one approach. Pointing out the change would explain the limitation and would confirm whether or not it is OK to use new batteries with old equipment and vice versa. I have not yet tested to see if the new battery works with all my existing equipment (that have used the old battery shape). So I have knocked a star off for this reason. I have not used the tool properly yet but it seems up to the usual high standard.

Not had one of these before so nothing to compare it to. Only used it couple of times and it worked well apart from trying to cut through screws which it basically failed at, quicker with hacksaw ,however if thats not an option one of these would the job eventually. A lot depends on the blades used I would think. The dual purpose ones supplied with it failed for the screws. Pleased I bought it though as I feel it may help me out of a few problems. Loads of makes on the market with a range of prices .Do your homework as to what you actually need it for and how often before purchasing any. Me being semi professional this machine is ok for the amount of times I'll use it but if your'e a heavy user get a more expensive one - with this type of thing I feel you get what you pay for. Up date on review :- I bought this to de grout a shower cubicle but the machine is not up to it , broke down less than halfway through the job. Although the motor was still running the blade was not vibrating , As the machine was still in warranty I returned it for repair/ replace . It was quickly returned with a note stating that nothing could be found to be wrong with it.. I was able to use it on a couple of minor jobs and it worked ok however I have since tried to cut some hardboard and it gave up within a couple of minutes and will does not vibrate again despite the motor running. Obviously now out of guarantee so I've been had I guess. If you want one of the type of tools buy another make as these are useless. I would now give it less than one star if possible. Avoid at all cost = its an expensive piece of junk - you have been warned.

Bought as present for son in law who really appreciated it - but I can't say anything about quality or function. But as it's a Bosch, I am confident it will be a valuable and lasting bit of kit in his toolbag. The icing on the cake was the extra free battery offer from Bosch which arrived within a couple of weeks - brilliant!

There are too many users to list here, but I've used it for a few different things, including removing ivy from a fence, and making modifications to my desk. The power settings really make a difference from low to high, and will cut through all sorts of different materials quickly, and with minimum fuss and effort. The only thing is, that the level of vibration on the highest levels can leave you feeling it afterwards. The best thing is that this is compatible with the Bosch 18v alliance batteries, so you can swap and change them between tools.

Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich so ein Gerät nutze und muss sagen: Genial! Ich werde mir nun auch weitere Aufsätze dafür kaufen. Aber was zu beachte ist, dass das Akku-Ladegreät nur einen Stecker für Großbritannien hat und somit in die Steckdosen in Deutschland nicht passt. Dafür war aber der Preis auch sehr niedrig. Für ein paar Euro bekommt man hier auf Amazon auch einen entsprechenden Reise-Adapter und dann läuft es.
