Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 2019 Wall Calendar

I LOVE this calendar. It's incredibly inspiring with the short stories about amazing women and girls from the past and present. It also has specific days in history that matter to women, such as the day abortion was legalized in the U.S., the day the supreme court upheld the women's right to vote, and even birthdays like Michelle Obama's birthday.The paper is like a thinner, matte cardstock, so it's sturdy and still accepts all kinds of pens, pencils, markers.The calendar dates are a dark purple instead of black which I also like.The spaces to write on each day are plenty, even for someone like me who writes everything on their wall calendar.It's really pretty. I'm more impressed than o thought I'd be and my 11yo daughter also really likes it, which is something she has never said about one of my calendars before!Just two things I do not like about it but not enough for me to not recommend this. I do hope they change this in future editions though!!1) There are no vertical lines between the dates. I need those lines to visually separate days. I will be taking a ruler and adding this lines. I just wish they were already there.2) the month is on the bottom of the page and I wish it were at the top. I understand the month at the bottom makes it easier to flip through to find future dates, however just like I need the vertical lines, I need the month above the numbers and it throws me off when it's on the bottom.I knew these 2 things before I bought the calendar thanks to the product images, but I made an exception, normally I would not consider a calendar without these 2 features, and I'm glad I made that exception.Highly recommend it!

Amazing and inspirational calendar. Complements the “Good Night..” books that we owned already. The whole family loves it - especially the 10 year old girl who owns it and has it hanging proudly in the kitchen so “everyone can see it”.
