I use this with a Samsung Note 8 and it's fine. Good luck trying to find the GoPro adapters on planet earth!! So far been a good device.

I bought one, although not from Amazon, and I'm very pleased with it.My camera is a Sony FDR X3000, so I had to do a minor conversion to make the camera fit.Basically the conversion involves getting an L shaped piece of plastic - I cut a piece out of some gutter pipe - drilling a couple of holes and bolting it onto the GoPro mount that comes with the kit.If I had to make a criticism, it would be about the fact that you can 't access any of the features from the gimbal itself, they have to be done through your mobile phone via an app that you have to download.Also that the gimbal has the 1/4" mount on the side, rather than underneath which would be easier to mount onto any accessories.But the gimbal itself is really solidly built, it works an absolute treat at keeping the horizon level, panning etc and doesn't seem too hard on batteries.It's not excessively heavy to carry around and will make your video footage look very smooth.
