Defective
Idk what happened with this batch. But came out white out from the tube and despite following the instructions, as I always have. Added the correct amount of developer. But, this never turned color?? I thought perhaps it was a new formulation, but no. There is something wrong. I ordered 2 tubes. I opened the second one and same thing. It was supposed to be caramel. Usually comes out like a light orange and oxidizes to a dark caramel. I used this for a few years and this has never been the case. Im going to see if customer service can help.

Works Well, Be Cautious if You Have Sensitive Skin!
This product works pretty well on medium brown hair! This did not pass my sensitivity test (always put a test spot on your arm to test skin sensitivity 1-2 days before!) , so I used this on some human hair extensions that were the wrong color for me for review.Overall, it works as intended, but the color isn’t necessarily as neutral as the box would make you assume. You’ll still definitely need a purple toner rinse for this one!If you’re looking for a decent affordable lift, I’d give this a try- just be careful and test for sensitivity!

Color Charm Permanent hair color
N9 Clairol Colorcharm. Good color nice to apply. Mixing 1 to 1 and slow to oxidize but took nice with good coverage.

Decent quality high-lift for the price, but very clumpy
First, if you're used to box dyes: this is a dye-only product, so you will need to purchase a developer separately.I've been using Wella products off and on for about 10 years, but this was my first time trying their cream dye (I usually get liquid or gel). It's a really thick consistency, and it was extremely difficult to get the lumps out. I had to bust out a whisk to get this to fully mix together. If you're the type of person who hates dye dripping as you apply it, this is probably a good option for you because the mixture ends up pretty thick, but I personally thought it was difficult to work with.I used 20 vol developer, and my results were pretty good. It lifted my hair a couple levels, and it was overall an even dye and lift. I was too lazy to do my slightly darker roots separate, so I had some hot root happening, but it wasn't as noticeable as when I'm bleaching. I would definitely recommend getting 2 boxes if you have long hair, especially because the thick consistency of the mixture makes it not cover as much hair (in my experience). I usually use two boxes anyway, but I was really worried I might need a third with how thick this was.I can't speak to how well it covers grays because this is a light color & so my grays might just be blending in. But the color lasted for a decent amount of time in general, which was nice. I do think this leans a little too warm to be a "12N" in my opinion; depending on your base color, I think this could easily come out really brassy.Overall, this is decent but I don't think I'd get it again because it was difficult to work with.

Easy to use & works great
The COLORCHARM Permanent Cream Hair Dye (12N High Lift Blonde, 2 oz), is easy to use, and it works great. This is only the dye, so a developer has to be purchased to use with it. It mixed well, went on evenly, and didn't irritate my scalp. I like the amount of color lift it gave my hair, but I would advise using a purple shampoo, or toner, afterwards. Also, if you're hair is really long, like mine is, one tube may not be enough to cover it all. Overall, I'm happy with the results, and I'd recommend it.
