I used this every day for 5 days while my family and I went to Universal Studios in Florida. I was late summer and very hot / sunny. This oil kept me from getting sunburned and helped my skin stay protected without needing to slather on the chemical garbage that is traditional sunscreen. I even used this while swimming and since it is oil, it more or less stays on your skin as long as you don't rub it off. I would re-apply it every 2-3 hours if I was swimming, but if I wasn't swimming, I would just put it on in the morning before heading out and it would keep my skin protected all day without the need to re-apply. The 4oz bottle lasted me a LONG time, I didn't even use half the bottle for out entire week-long trip and I applied it liberally every morning and before swimming.
