Delwip DW-WO11 Wing Style Corkscrew Wine and Bottle Opener

It was a great opener until the handle snapped off, leaving an extremely sharp edge. Needless to say, when you're putting pressure on something, and it breaks in your hand, right at the point that area between your thumb and forefinger rest while using it, the sharp edge will open a gash in your hand that requires stitches.I suppose I could understand it breaking if I had been putting extreme pressure on it, but this wasn't the case. I was just opening a bottle of wine, the cork started to slide, and the handle of the corkscrew snapped off. I could understand if the opener was extremely old, but I purchased it in July of 2015 and it's now December of 2015. Therefore, the conclusion that I have to draw is that this is a very poorly made product that should be pulled off the market.Don't make the same mistake that I did-please don't purchase the Delwip DW-WO11-it is an extremely dangerous product that should not be on the market.

It's adequate, and better than the cheap ones in the big box stores but definitely not as good as the heavy duty one it was replacing. Unfortunately I do not know the manufacturer of that one. I was expecting a longer screw and heavier metal. I will use it and not return it, but will keep looking for a product that is even more durable.

I keep one in the car because so many times I take off camping with a bottle of wine and have no way to open it. This opener is well made.I have owned over 20 of these so decided to purchase two that look invincible.

Not the most fancy but it does the job consistantently!

This is a really top quality wine bottle opener. My last one which was not cheap, fell to pieces. This is much better quality.

Got this for my elderly mother who can't figure out how to use the electric cork screws. This one is perfect for her arthritic hands.
