I've always had very sensitive teeth with calcium deposits but I recently noticed it was getting worse. I decided to swap my Colgate with one that had zero titanium dioxide, cleaner ingredients, added benefits etc. and this one caught my eye. I've used it twice daily for about 3 weeks now and I love it, even my boyfriend is hooked! I don't like an overly minty taste that stings, especially before breakfast, so I was very happy that the flavor wasn't too strong. My teeth feel super clean, my sensitivity has already improved, and my gums aren't bleeding - which I think is due to its low abrasive ingredients. Also, this might just be me being picky, but I hate super foamy toothpastes as they tend to be messy - SuperMouth's toothpaste hardly foams which made me so happy! Definitely would recommend it to everyone looking for a clean and effective option.

To be clear, I ordered this Nano-Hydroxyapatite toothpaste by SuperMouth for the ingredients rather than the chocolate flavor. Not that I have anything against chocolate, but it does seem a strange flavor for toothpaste.Now that I have tried this product, I must say that I like the flavor better than I thought I would. To me it tastes like a chocolate milkshake with a hint of mint. Out of curiosity I asked my husband what my breath smelled like after using this toothpaste, and he said my breath smelled minty. He could detect no chocolate on my breath.Anyway, this toothpaste is about the same consistency as my usual brand, and it is light brown in color, which is a bit odd to see. It is actually really pleasant to use, the flavor is very natural tasting, and the paste turns white once you start brushing with it. There is not a lot of foaming action, but that is because they use a more natural foaming agent, so I'm not going to complain about that. After using it my mouth certainly felt cleaner, but admittedly not as clean as using a stronger mint toothpaste.This matters not, because I know from the ingredients that this toothpaste is doing a good job of cleaning my teeth. It contains hydrated silica to help with cleaning and whitening. It also has vitamin K2 and vitamin D3, both of which can support bone health. In addition to that it has inulin, which is a prebiotic that supports beneficial bacteria. And lastly, the all-important nano-hydroxyapatite, which can remineralize the tooth enamel.This is a well-balanced toothpaste that is excellent for those with sensitive teeth and gums, but everybody can benefit from these ingredients. Really my only issue with this toothpaste is the price. It is currently selling for $16.99 for the 3.4 Oz tube, which makes it much more expensive than my usual brand. However, my usual brand does not have all these great ingredients, so there's that. I probably won't repurchase this wonderful toothpaste due to the pricing, but it has opened my eyes to the importance of using good quality toothpaste, and the super cheap stuff I was using is now in the bin.

Tastes like vanilla frosting. Do with that what you will

I realize part of the reason why we like the toothpastes that suds up is because of less than desirable ingredients. I really wanted to like this product and I tried it numerous times over the course of several weeks. I expected the flat flavor and that it wasn't going to bubble up, but no matter how much I used or how long I brushed, I just couldn't get my teeth to feel clean with this stuff. I'm willing to keep pushing through the tube to see if maybe I just need to get used to it but my teeth don't feel clean and the lack of scent/flavor makes me self-conscious about my breath being harsh.

It doesn’t foam like traditional toothpastes and the taste is milder which I like because the other ones seem so strong. It was recommended by my dentist and I think it’s doing a good job.

I actually kind of like the chocolate-with-hint-of-mint flavor of this toothpaste, although the brownish color is slightly off-putting.My main issues with this, however, are that it's ridiculously expensive; it certainly doesn't clean any better than 'regular' toothpaste, and I see no difference in sensitivity; and it leaves a lot more residue in the sink, and the drain, than my usual toothpaste. That last problem does not appear isolated to this brand - based on trying a few different ones, all the nano-hydroxyapatite toothpastes seem to have a clogging issue, and, maybe even worse, that residue really really stinks.Sorry, I just won't use this product any longer, or any nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste for that matter. This one just seems worse because of the silly pricing.

The addition of nano-hydroxyapatite to toothpaste is unfamiliar to me but it appears to be newcomer to everyday oral care as others are also on the bandwagon. It costs more than what you’d find at the store but seems to be gaining momentum. Do your research to see if it’s a good choice for you.As for this particular toothpaste, I enjoy the vanilla flavor. It tastes like frosting and leaves my mouth and teeth feeling especially clean. The color is a little off-putting (brownish). It doesn’t foam very well so I was surprised at how smooth my teeth feel after brushing. I think in the future I’ll consider getting a tube that includes fluoride.This brand seems to have done a lot of research, uses quality ingredients and their products are made in the USA.
