Fantastic Quality
Noctua's quality is renown. The fan arrives in a cardboard box with the fan, 24 coloured rubber corners, four of each colour, and one four pin cable. I was surprised there was nothing else, Noctua usually include a few different cables and or extensions. I guess the margin on these large fans must be lower! As you would expect with Noctua, it's a heavy, well made fan. It's almost totally silent in operation, there is a slight woosh of air and that's it. Of course it's relatively low RPM but then it's a big fan so despite the low RPM it shifts a lot of air. It's takes a while to get used to how quiet it is.You have to be very careful with 200mm fans because different manufacturers have different distances between the fitting holes. The Noctua supports two of the most popular but I still recommend that you go to their site and check the compatibility with your case. They also have different thicknesses. Some manufacturers 20cm fans are 25mm thick but these are 30mm thick. All in all, even with the compatibility checker, they might not fit, so make sure you buy them from a retailer that is happy to take them back if there are problems.Considering it's size it's a bargain. Highly recommended.

The price of silence
Silence, it seems, comes at a premium. While I love how quiet this fan is, especially when you consider how few 120mm fan options there are out there, I can't help but think that Noctua are the Apple of cooling. While I don't doubt the quality of their cooling, I do doubt that this fan costs as much to make as the price tag seems to suggest.Absolutely fantastic, if you'll pardon the pun, but way overpriced for something that will not be seen post installation.

This fan is stupid quite 😲
The media could not be loaded. This fan is amazing super cooling for my custom GPU mining rig and so so sooooo quiet. I mean you can literally barely hear it. For reference this is running at 100% in the video. Would defo recommend and will be buying more of these in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Noctua quality
I've bought many NF-A20s over the years and every single one of them has been prefect. Off the top of my head the speed range is 400-800rpm with the lower end being silent in front of a radiator and the higher end being audible but really not too bad with the low-pitched sound of buffeting airHowever, my big gripe about these is the excessive packaging. Sure it looks pretty and "premium", and there's a pretty little box for the coloured corner bits, but it quickly becomes a pain in the rear if you've got multiple fans to setup and then dispose of the packaging for. Surely there's got to be a better way of doing this.

Not Compatible with the H500M
Note: the photo quality is extremely crap... the android camera app in some phones really loves compressing the image into mush lol.I got two of these 200mm behemouths for my H500M... but they were a nightmare to install as the screw holes didn't line up with anything. In the end I was able to line the two centre screw holes only using rubber fan mounts (see images). Which meant they weren't secured fully to the case.... no matter the front panel would push down on the fans and secure them. Thus easy to install rating: 1 Star.BUT!The fans were too thick at 30MM and so they do not fit... unfortunately the fan depth is not stated in the bloody manual. The H500M only supports upto 25mm fans... but it seems 200x200x30 are what's become the standard dimensions... damn it. No matter, the included 200MM fans with the H500M are pretty decent fans. However, you do need a decent fan controller to get the most out of them though as the fan splitters included ithe case run the fans are rather low RPMs.Anyway, I ended up sliding a fan inside the case (see last image - the thick frame allowed me to actually just slide it in there and the rubber inserts held the fan in place)... and started testing.... that's when the coil whine started... oh God... my ears drums felt they were being split by a razer blade. Increasing or decreasing the rpm would stop it for a few seconds and then it would start up again with vengence lol...Therefore I could only test for a few minutes and from what I saw - temps were decent as expected from Noctua fans.So unfortunately, Chromax and Redux fans will not work with my set up components. I do not have this issue with the Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM (Slim) which I have been testing as a rear exhaust for over a year. Leading me to believe that the bearings / motors aren't the same. I will be buying a few more Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM (Slim) over a period of time to test this theory as well as redux and chromax fans.Overall, 3 stars.Minus 1 star for the coil whine issue at £32.99 per fan... these fans aren't cheap and expected better from a premium brand.Minus 1 star for the short fan connector (see image).Plus 1 star for the physical build quality.Plus 1 star for the decent build quality of rubber inserts as they aren't your flimsy pieces of crap.Plus 1 star for the included and much needed fan extension cable.Would I recommend these fans?Only, if your case supports 30mm depth 200mm fans and even then the caveat is that you may or may not have coil whine issues. So your milage may vary and in the event you have a case that doesn't support 30mm fans? Well, the answer's pretty obvious isn't it 😅 - find a fan that has compatible dimensions. If I do find any I will update this review but I am not holding my breath as it seems 30mm is now the standard depth. Also the included fans with the H500m are pretty decent themselves.
