Excellent support
Bought these as a gift for my dad's birthday and he loves them. They are true to size and fit him perfectly. He often needs additional insoles added, but these ones are so supportive and comfortable that he can wear them as is. The design is simple and looks good, with the all black uppers and white bottoms. The laces are long enough and have held up well. The have good grip, offering traction and added support, while being very lightweight. I will definitely order another pair for him in the future.

Comfortable, Supportive, and Great Value
I’ve been wearing the Saucony Men’s Guide 18 running sneakers for a couple of years now, and they’ve been excellent. They’re extremely comfortable and versatile enough for both everyday wear and running. I have fallen arches, and these shoes completely eliminated the calf pain I used to get when running, which was a huge improvement for me. The support and stability are spot on without feeling stiff or heavy. They’re also very durable — mine have held up well over time — and the price makes them an outstanding value for the quality you’re getting. I would absolutely buy them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, supportive running shoe.

Now my favorite walking shoe.
I have previously rated the Brooks Ghost series as my favorite. But I had a problem. I have a 13 EE foot and in that size and width Brooks has few color choices. So I asked the Grok AI platform what would be another choice for me. They suggested three Saucony models. The other two Saucony were good but the Guide was great. I'm elderly and want something soft for striking the ground, and stable. I want good comfort. The Guide 18's were a 10 across the board. But the best part - they offer some nice colors. I bought the white, pictured, and people have commented on how nice they look.

Comfortable, but not super durable.
These shoes are comfortable and have cushy sole that decreases post run joint pain when you are running many miles per week. They are not super durable though. They only last ~300 miles of hard XC training. Brooks last longer, but are tougher on the joints.

Comfortable shoes
Bought these for a recent urban trip where we would be doing a lot of walking. They are extremely comfortable and they made the trip very enjoyable. Found them to be true to size.

Glad I bought them!
I got these based on a recommendation for running on concrete and light gravel, and I am replacing very old Saucony running shoes (as I try to get back into jogging again). I have never once owned a pair of red shoes before, but my oldest son is much more adventuress then I am, and I wanted to match his red shoes! All of that to say, these things are awesome! They're much lighter then my old tennis shoes, and it feels like I'm walking on bubble wrap (in a good way.) I was nervous about the sizing, but they were true to my last pair and fight perfectly. I took them out for a run this morning, and my calves feel so much better than prior recent runs with my old worn out sneakers. I'm not a shoe expert, but I really think these were a very good value!

Fantastic
Been struggling a couple of years with foot pain and numbness in ball of feet and then recently a toe started hurting too. Almost like a hammertoe. I was using an inexpensive shoe from that popular brand that uses the memory foam insoles for the past couple of years. They are extra wide or 4E. The problem with these shoes are the memory foam insole becomes flat quickly (not good as I have flat feet), and the shoes also have a high “drop” which is problematic. The uppers on these cheap shoes are also not very flexibly to allow for toes to wiggle and the soles are not very “cushy”. The high drop (12mm) causes the foot to always shift toward the front of the shoe essentially jamming the toes into the toe box area constantly. These Saucony shoes remedy all those issues! The 4e is nice and wide, flexible upper with toe wiggle room, medium drop of 6mm, good quality insole and cushy sole but not super bouncy like some premium brands. My feet feel better after two days in these! Shoes do matter! And note that doing research on why wide and extra wide sizes are so much harder to find I found that a great percent of buyers actually buy medium but need a wide. Which translates to lower demand for wider sizes! Do yourself a favor and get your foot measured (running shoe stores are best) before you “run” into foot problems like I did from too narrow a shoe for too many years!

Not for me
Sigh. I wanted to love them but the first 5 minutes and my big toe callus was done for. It just didn’t fit my foot anatomically correct. Not sure that’s the shoes fault but it was almost too wide of a toe box (even with heel lacing). I wanted to love the rocking but it made me motion sick just walking. For reference: half marathoner, 30 miles a week, running only. Foot: double big toe callus, double bunionette, flat foot, torn plantar plate recovery
