The media could not be loaded. These are perfect for my 3 bigger kids (ages 9, 4, & 3) for our daily paint days. The paper is thick so the water color doesn’t bleed through and the size is just right as to not take up the whole table and have no space for the paints and brushes and water. I love that they come in a 3 pack and the quality truly is there. The pages rip out too, which works well for single paintings or mess ups.

It's made of very good material, good quality, and works perfectly with watercolors or water-based markers, or with a simple drawing pencil. Would I buy it again? Yes, of course. I loved it for my therapeutic doodles.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Most inexpensive watercolor paper is sized wrong. The paint and water roll off or it’s absorbed instantly and spreads until you have a soggy mess. Whatever these people do, they have a perfect mix. I just order five of the 7X10 versions for my watercolor notebooks. I record swatches, color mixes, field sketches, even drawing with these.The 9X12 is so good, I could tell you you were painting on $40 cotton paper and you wouldn’t know. This indent just good, this is the best paper I have encountered so far and that includes the 100% cotton famous name stuff. The cold press texture is just right.

I bought this paper because it was $6 and some change with free shipping.I think it’s the perfect paper to practice ideas on.It’s good quality for the price.I used watercolor pencils.I would definitely order again.Very happy with my purchase.

I saw this paper had good reviews and a great price. I thought I would give it a try as a practice book. Using Windor & Newton paints, the first thing I tried was a basic watercolor wash. The water beaded on top of the paper and the paint would not distribute evenly. I let it dry, added more water and some very loose paint to see if would run if I held the paper up and the results were very disappointing. I would not recommend this paper for watercolor painting at all. I will only use it for drawing paper or colored pencils and would not purchase it again.UPDATE: Changed my rating to a three because IF you tear the sheets out of the notebook, tape it to a board, and clean all the sizing off the paper by washing it with a sponge, and letting it dry, you can use this paper without as much frustration. I still will not purchase this paper again but I am glad not to waste it.
