Good product it's my second one

I had a simple Hannah ph pen for ten years. Never failed. I accidentally broke it and ordered cheap ph pens from vivosun. They broke every other week after buying around 8 I looked up the brand Hannah I’m surprised it does not pop up when searching on here. You have to type Hanna ph pen. It’s a decent price. I hope it lasts half the time the other Hanna ph pen I got ten years back. It was calibrated already but I decided to calibrate it myself. Easier than than the vivosun ones to do.

I wasn't looking forward to having to calibrate the Hanna pH meter frequently... and I wondered how much of a pain it was going to be to use it... Turns out, it's pretty pain free. Granted, I'm only using it to verify pH of fresh water planted aquaria. So for more costly systems (e.g. reef tank) you might opt to recalibrate it more often. Also, my fresh water tanks tend to run around 7.0 pH, so higher (or lower) pH testing may not be similar to my experience. That being said, the Hanna pH meter performs very well. I've used it 20 or so times doing daily pH testing. And I've only had to calibrate it once. The way I get around frequent calibration is simply to verify the reading of 7.0 using the included buffer prior to testing my tank water. And after testing, I immediately put it in RO water to "clean it off"... and finally a quick dip in old 7.0 buffer then I put the cap on for storage. It may not be the recommended procedure but I'm satisfied that it's giving me accurate enough results.

I work in a soils lab and this was just what i needed. I like hanna instruments. It's easy to use and has clear instructions. Comes in a little storage case with some storage solution and a small pack of buffer. It's held up so far so good and I've had it for a few months

Funktioniert wie beschrieben. Nur das man es vor dem Messen mit speziellen Flüssigkeiten kalibrieren muss, dämpft ein wenig den Spaß. Für unseren Pool habe ich dies benutzt und bin wieder zu den Tabs gewechselt, da ich ein Pool nicht so genau brauche. Es ist ein tolles Teil, aber denke eher für Labore und nicht für den 08/15 Poolbesitzer. Es funktioniert, ist aber durch den Zwang es zu Kalibrieren, nicht für schnelles Messen zwischendurch.

Je fais du kombucha à la maison et ce pH-mètre m’aide beaucoup pour savoir quand arrêter la fermentation. Même en étant débutante, j’ai pu l’utiliser facilement. Il est livré avec des sachets pour le calibrage (pH 4 et 7) et un sachet pour nettoyer la sonde, ce qui permet de l’utiliser dès réception. Les sachets sont très pratiques : il suffit de plonger la sonde dedans. À noter : ils sont à usage unique. Pour bien entretenir l’appareil, il faut aussi prévoir de l’eau distillée pour rincer la sonde et une solution de stockage pour la conserver entre deux utilisations. Simple, précis et fiable, ce pH-mètre est un vrai plus pour bien réussir son kombucha. Je recommande vivement, notamment si vous êtes débutant comme moi !
