In/Above Ground Pool Pump, Self Primming High Flow (Single Speed, 3HP, 8964 GPH, 115V)

I changed the 1/2 hp pump which is inadequate for the 14x24 pool that they come with this pump I’m able to properly vacuum the pool and do a complete water exchange in 2 hours installed yesterday afternoon the pool water was green from setting all winter checked this morning and found the water almost clear.

This was a complete failure. Upon opening the box I first saw the strainer basket was broken. After using JB Weld on the basket and letting cure for 24 hrs. I was not able to use it. The JBWeld would not stick to the plastic. I used it for the 18 hours it took for the pump to drop in pressure to 2 lbs. Weak 12 lbs of pressure. Sounded like it was full of gravel. Returning for refund. I can't imagine the little suction it would produce if I were to vacuum with it. I ended up rebuilding the leaky 2hp Pentair Superflo.

Worked perfectly as a replacement. Fit our pool and so far no leaks! Great power and was easy to swap out.
