Will not fit all DVOMs or Oscilloscopes
The product itself works however it will not fit all DVOMs. I used it with my ET826 graphical multimeter and the banana plugs on the clamp transmitter probe were very loose and would not read when I tested it. The banana plugs did work on my Hantek DSO1200 oscilloscope. I use the graphical multimeter in the field as a mechanic and if the plugs are loose or do not make contact to the meter, the probe is useless. I had to return this item.

Dang this one reads that low!
This is how the day started. Three guys 1 semi ??? It’s got to be the fuel pump (test, test, test, test) snap on tools , multi meters , volts are there and this guy says my clamp reads lower volts than your let’s give it a shot …. BOOM on the scope a super low profile waveform! Both the other guys ordered one before the lift pump was delivered. Low amps are hard to find this amp makes a pretty picture for you…..

Poor quality
The first one I bought was returned to Amazons 30-day window for a broken lead. The 2nd one quit working after 8 months. Beware: there is no manufacture's warranty on them. After contacting the company, they told me to just buy another one! I told them I've wasted enough $ with them, so I won't be doing that again.

Works great!
I bought it because most amp clamps only measure alternating current. This one measures both AC and DC without interrupting the circuit. I use it with a trusty old Fluke 27FM multimeter.

Appears well made but has rapid drift on DC current
Overall I am happy with the device. However, it is somewhat difficult to get a correct measurement for low levels of direct current because the "Zero" settings does not hold for very long. You may need to Zero sensor and quickly read the current several times to and average the readings for best accuracy. I find that for low currents I can clamp the probe around the current carrying wire, Zero the sensor, quickly open the jaws to get get the wire out, then close the jaws and observe the reading. The resulting reading will show a current value (ignore the direction indicated ty + or +) that has a lower effect from the Zero drift. All DC clamp-on current sensors have the Zero drift problem; it might be a little less on more expensive devices.

Not very stable
You have to zero it Al lot. It’s not as small As it looked I was not able to use it where I needed. What is also difficult to interpret as the scales are really odd ball.
