Bad connection
I got this thing on a Friday and returned it that next Monday. From the start this thing was a pain to get connected, then once it was working the single would skip out all the time and eventually would lose connection all together, then randomly reconnect. I plugged it in out in the open and even had my phone sitting directly on it at one point and still did the same thing. Do yourself a favor and just spend the extra money to get a good one

Inconsistent Android Auto Connection – Corded Is More Reliable
This 2-in-1 wireless CarPlay adapter seemed promising, but the Android Auto connection has been quite finicky. While it does convert wired to wireless, the connection often drops or takes a while to connect, making it frustrating to use on a regular basis. I’ve found that sticking with a corded setup is much more reliable and doesn’t have the connection issues that this adapter does. The plug-and-play setup was easy, and it’s great in theory, but the inconsistency with Android Auto makes it hard to justify the effort. If you’re mainly looking for a reliable wireless experience with Android Auto, this may not be worth it.

A little tough to connect but works well
Nice duel AA and CP unit. Very lightweight and nice non-gloss black body is unobtrusive. Nice beefy USB A and C cables. My wife has Apple and I have Android and we have a late model Hyundai with the wired only connection. An adapter is a must as the cable connection for AA is glitchy but works great with any wireless AA adapter.Seems to want to go to CP if both phones are present and scanning for wifi and BT but cycling off the phone you aren't using works.A very solid value. Giving 4 stars as I can't confirm longevity and this thing is so light, but well ventilated on the bottom, that only time will tell.

Convenient Wireless Android Auto/Carplay Adapter
This adapter lets my wife and I both use a single adapter to connect to my car stereo. She uses an iPhone and I use a Pixel. Before, we would have to switch adapters when either of us would drive. This sort of defeats the purpose of a wireless adapter, because if you have to plug in a different one every time you drive, you may as well plug in your phone. But with this adapter, all either of us has to do is connect to the Bluetooth signal from the box, and it boots up in the correct OS, connects automatically and is good to go.

I thought my car was broken....
This connected for about 30 seconds. Then disconnected. Then reconnected, then disconnected. Over and over. And of course if would never mess with it while I was actually driving........... But in a 20 minute drive it it was connected for about 1 minute total.I gave up with trying to make it work and tried to just connect my phones media back to my car via Bluetooth and it wouldn't recognize it! I was afraid I completely screwed up my car's computer. But not to worry! I tried again! Same thing. Even if it had eventually stayed connected, which it did not, it's not worth the headache when I can plug my phone in in 1 second.Car in question is a 2023 Hyundai Sonata.

Has everthing covered
We purchased 2 new vehicles in the past 3 years that are fairly top of the line, but disappointingly they only came with wired Android Auto and Apple Carplay. My wife and I drive both vehicles interchangeably and she is an iPhone user and I use an Android phone. We had previously gotten both a Apple Carplay and a Android Auto wireless adapter, but trying to keep track of which one was in which vehicle was a pain. When I got the opportunity to evaluate this dual adapter, which costs about half as much as we paid for the single use adapters, I jumped at the chance. We have only had this adapter for a brief time and have been able to connect to both vehicles and either phone, but we are still agonizing over the best and quickest way to switch between phones, particularly when we are riding together, but I am sure we will figure it out in time.I think that even if you have only one system or the other, that you might look seriously at this VCARLINKPLAY wireless adapter, not only because of its low cost , but the added functionality of being able to accommodate the “other” system.

Not worth the effort
This adapter does what it promises – it converts my wired CarPlay to wireless, and that's convenient. However, it's not without its quirks. The connection can be a bit finicky at times, especially when starting the car. I've also experienced some occasional audio lag, which is frustrating when listening to music or podcasts. The setup was anything but straightforward. Others have had better success but trying to get it to connect to my Dodge truck and phone was frustrating at a minimum. If it wasn't to give a review I would have returned it after the first 4 attempts. The Magic Link doesn't quite live up to its "magic" name. You might want to explore other options if you're looking for a reliable and seamless wireless CarPlay experience. But if you're willing to tolerate some minor inconveniences for the sake of some convenience, then this adapter could be a good fit.
