Art of Evil Within

I purchased one of the hardcover versions of the book, and I was absolutely blown away by the quality. The book structure itself was in excellent condition and appeared to have hardly been used. The pictures and text were of detail I had never seen before in a book. For the hardcovers that are under $500, I recommend this for any big-time fan of The Evil Within. It is worth saving up for. It brings detail and insight into the game that can’t always be found on the internet. I can only hope and assume that the digital version has an equal amount of graphic detail. Check with each seller, though, to make sure it is the quality you want. Mine was a former library book and had library tags on the cover and spine (which I am 100% okay with).

The game is highly enjoyable and the artbook itself is top quality, Dark horse books seems to nail all the right things when it comes to their artbooks. The artbook is full of infomation about the characters and the art is just incredible, The lead concept artist Ikumi Nakamura is a very talented individual, I personally don't like the Japanese art at all, but this is just pure beauty. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed The Evil Within, it's a must have !

Another great high quality, hardcover Dark Horse Art Book!! With 224 pages full of concept art of characters, villains, environments, props, and marketing material. Also includes an introduction from Shinji Mikami (Creator of the game) and Ikumi Nakamura (Lead Concept Artist) talking about the origins and development of the game. Most art for a particular character or enemies include beginning sketches and then include the final CG version of it. If you like video game art books and grotesque monster designs this book is for you!

Very very cool and interesting concept art book!!!! I love seeing various character designs and details for the levels. Great to pick up and look through at your own pace.

The book is amazing, love all of the different costumes for each of the character especially for Kimdall and The Keeper. I would gladly give this book a 5/5 however, I noticed one significant problem with my book, I have around 20 extra pages that are the exactly same as the previous 20 pages or so in my book. So I'm not sure if I lost some artwork or I have extra 20 pages. That kind of bugged me because the book itself is amazing with all of the cool artwork in different mediums etc. If I could get a new book that is 100% correct, I would gladly give this book 5 out of 5!

Being a fan of the game (before it was even released!), This was a must-have!^^It is full of lots of details regarding characters, monsters and the stages design along with their backgrounds! :)Totally loved the high-quality of this art book as well! <3

For inquisitive people like myself. We have questions about what the art embodies of the minds it is supposed to have portrayed. This book gives amazing answers to many questions fans have about the games concept art, as well as additional ( and in my opinion more insightful) look into the depth of the various personalities we see in The Evil Within world. If I could sum up this book in one word it would be “Delicious.”

I was really looking forward to this book of the art and stories involved in the making of the new video game, Art of Evil Within. This would make an excellent movie and hopefully someone in Hollywood will take notice.
