Metal bar, plastic holder. Fits perfectly on my seat headrest and is very simple to install. Definitely recomend getting these if you have kids!

Did not fit my truck headrest posts
Mount did not extend far enough to fit between the headrest posts in my full-size Chevy Silverado.

Great products
This product fits great! The only withdrawal I have is that the adjustment but is made of weak material and is liable to fail if it is tightened too much.
