World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria - Collector's Edition (PC DVD)

This will hopefully bring back old players and bring in loads of new players too because this expansion is amazing. The content is incredible. You can tell how much work the designers at Blizzard have put into this. The Collector's Edition is beautiful. The art book is my favourite and everything else is very good. The only thing I would complain about is the Imperial Quillen mount...my char sits too low on the mount so he's sat inside it. -__- Blizz needs to fix this asap because it's not on that I've paid £60 for this and the mount I wanted to use for travelling around Pandaria is embarassing because of this issue.

I'm a Warcrafter, so this one is a no brainier, box arrived on time and in perfect condition. It's just a shame you have to crack the seal on the game box to get the code to play as it would have remained mint otherwise. Game play is good and blizzard have done a very good job with this collectors ed.

I'll admit I haven't played WoW in over a year, but I bought the CE for the extras that come with it, so my review is based on the contents inside.It comes with a nice mouse-pad, just like the previous CE's, and this features our friend Chen Stormstout.There's also an exquisite art book filled with concept art and designs that I enjoy flicking through, time and again.I have seen the majority of the DVD (also with a blu-ray!) Behind the Scenes features, which have standard fare about the lore, designing sound, landscapes, different versions of the MoP cinematic and many interviews that anyone who wants to know the background behind the game should definitely watch!And finally, the OST CD is just beautiful. The composers and musicians have outdone themselves yet again. Highlights include Heart of Pandaria (log-in music), The Traveler's Path (with vocals!), Stormstout Brew and Serpent Riders. If this music is epic and gorgeous as it sounds on CD, then it must be even better while levelling in Pandaria.As a final note, I still read updates on WoW, and it seems now is a great time to go back, what with the war being brought to the shores and 2 new awesome islands being discovered in Patch 5.2. People might complain about the many daily quests, but I actually enjoy them (in general). But it's not my choice, that's for you to decide! I would heartily recommend this item for any avid collector.

Was looking forward to this expansion as well lets be honest it has Pandas, those bundles of fun that drink harder than a alcoholic dwarf in a dessert and fight with the ferocity of a tauren trying not to become the special at the local burger jointI have to say though I am disappointed with the lack of storyline blizzard seem to have just rolled it out with a attitude of " Hey people are gonna buy it anyway why put in any real graft well just roll it out shove it on the shelves make some money, put our feet up and watch the gold roll in" not good.The new land looks OK and some of the new mobs are different to look at but to be honest its all a bit the same, as for the homogenization of wow to meet the needs of those who cant learn the rotations and roles in game well dont get me startedOn the plus side the extras in the box are pretty good and the soundtrack is very GOOD Delivered ready for the servers coming up on release day so no complaints there

Upon receiving my collectors edition copy from amazon, my game key does not work, and the game key code was slightly peeled inside the game box, I have previously posted about this here, but it has been removed. Clearly to hide my review.

This is just a short description of my experience with this game. I am one of Blizzard's biggest fan and I would at least give any of their games a shot. They add a kind of polish and post-release support that just is not comparable with other game developers. They really try to give every single aspect of the game their very best, and it really shows, and at the same time make the game accessible to the widest variety of audience possible.This game is no exception. Because this expansion cam out of the blue, and did not seem very connected with known and loved lore, I did not expect much of it. Maybe this is why I was surprised by how good it was. The questing experience has never, and I mean never, been better than this. More voice overs than ever, better cut-scenes, a large number of quest types, and the quest lines just grabs your attention in a way that wasn't there before. Every map has a number of coherent quest lines that gradually shapes up the lore for this expansion, involving you in the process. Also for those who love the topic of the fight between the Alliance and the Horde: this topic is in the foremost of this expansion.There are also a ton of new features, at least one or two are guaranteed to grab you attention. Suffice to say that now the game has its own versions of Pokemon and Farmville, and both integrated seamlessly into the experience: pets you have been collecting for the past years are now all ones who can fight and have unique and tasteful abilities and attributes, and the plants you grow in your farm are used as cooking ingredients.Once I started sobering up though, and I hated to notice it, but the game is really starting to show its age. The environment for the new continent is fascinating, but the graphics engine is just not good enough anymore. And although a huge amount of voice acting was added, and most of it is great, interacting quest givers who are fully animated and voiced, with conversation choices, which are found in Star Wars The Old Republic, makes these too-late and limited efforts look like child's play.I cannot recommend that you buy the game or not, it will probably depend on how much you already love the game, but I hope I have given a brief of the highlights that might help you decide.

I've just started playing through Pandaria on my main. Taking my time and thoroughly enjoying it! The quests are fun and different, the new races are awesome (I kinda love the Hozen :D), the voice acting is good, and the scenery. Oh the scenery. It is gorgeous! I'm in awe every time I play now. It's just beautiful and I don't know what else to say! Many screens are being taken!

La cosa che più mi ha colpito è l'ottima fattura del prodotto. Cartone spesso e resistente per il box esterno; alloggi per ogni componente della collector; stampe di qualità con colori accesi; artbook spesso, ricchissimo di immagini e con la copertina rigida con le scritte e i disegni in rilievo. Insomma, tutto mi ha colpito in positivo! Il cd della soundtrack non è riposto in una copertina di plastichetta o di carta, ma ha una custodia di cartone bella e resistente. Il blu ray ha la copertina a box classica, stesso dicasi per il cd del gioco. Il tappetino per mouse è enorme. Anche i contenuti in game sono bellissimi, specie la mount! In conclusione, trovo che il prezzo sia davvero conveniente per il prodotto che si va ad acquistare. Questa collector era un regalo di compleanno e il festeggiato è rimasto contentissimo.
